Be ready to wait on the long waiting list of you want to go bowling, they do not even provide you with an indication of how long you will wait. They don't inform you before hand that the bowling they offer is not the standard rules bowling, this makes the maches less competitive and more suitable to teens. It's very noisy so you are constantly shouting to have a conversation with people The place does however look nice though and they serve alcohol while playing games. Price per person R 300–350 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

The places atmosphere and "vibe" of the whole place is fun, trendy and overall great to be around. There are a variety of games to choose from, like old school arcade games, bowling, darts and pool. Its downfall is the food, it was extremely average, and hopefully you don't feel like different kinds of food, because all your options for food is pizza. Out of the 6 pizzas we ordered here, only 1 was very yummy. The service is good. However, you need a membership/game card to enter the place (which is R50 PER PERSON). So, if you travel in groups, each individual has to buy a card to be let in (even if you don't want to play games). Which I see as a huge money making scheme. It would make more sense if only one person needs to get the card, since the cards only use is to swipe to play a game. (for example, when we were there, when you wanted to bowl, only one person needs add money onto one card amongst the whole group to play) What I also don't think is worth your money, is that for bowling it is is R275 for only 30 mins-in which we couldn't even finish 1 game, and for Darts it's R190 for 30 minutes-in which we couldn't finish 2 games. Once your times up, it shows your score without you finishing. Edit: The owner has replied underneath this, and has stated "The attractions are time based and the game formats allow for this. You can purchase additional slots for larger groups." I came in a group of 8 people, and I do not consider it reasonable to spend around R550 for 2 seperate games at the same time for ONLY 30 min because Cracker Zacs did not consider that people tend to come in bigger groups for locations like this (as we have to split up for the additional slots in order to at least finish a game, and play together at the same time). However, if you do have money to spend without constraint, I say go for it. Price per person R 450–500 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
Cracker Zac’s is an incredible space! I’ve been here both for corporate events (you can book a slot on weekdays to have it to yourself) and for personally entertainment (Usually on weekends. Only walk-ins accepted). The space is always clean, the music is not overwhelming, and best of all - the capacity is managed to ensure you’ve always got something to do (be it games, food, or drinks) I.e., I’ve never experienced overcrowding in the 4+ visits I’ve made. Key features: • Professional staff • Dining area blended into the space • Wide balcony when you’d like to get a gentle breeze and enjoy the evening sky Audience: >21 years of age Typically young and experienced professionals Games to expect: Darts (digitally interactive board), Bowling (digitally interactive rails), Air hockey, Classic Arcade (Pinball), Zombie shooting, Classic games (e.g., Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Metal Slug, Tekken etc.) and more Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Overall a fun experience. Inconvenient that you have to go through the kiddies area to get to the venue, however it’s well tucked away. The queue to get in can get very discouraging. 10+ minutes wait time. The entrance card is R50 which gets you 5 plays on arcade games, have to pay separate for everything else. I found it worked out quite pricey to do all the activities. The food was very tasty, no fault there. The arcade games bring out your inner child and this was the most fun I had in a minute. Drinks are overpriced for sure. I would definitely go back and just do less activities, also get in early so I can get a good seat Price per person R 300–350 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
Like all the other reviews about the completely ridiculous dress code and double standard about it. Was only informed after we had paid our entrance fee that my collared shirt and chino shorts with slops were not acceptable for a Sunday afternoon in December and I had to make a plan with shoes or not get further service. The staff dealing with this dress code were rude and on a power trip but let multiple other people walk around in slops and even barefoot. There is zero consistency with it and seems though smart casual includes vests for some but not for others. Food was average and the games are overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all, not what it’s cracked up to be. UPDATE: after a very generic reply it’s strange to see that my email address that I used for the review has been blocked by the company however my alternative email works? Generic replies are just a cover story to make it look like they actually deal with their reviews.

Wish I could give it 0. They treat the place like a club. The bouncers are cool but the lady’s that sell you the arcade card are the worst they don’t listen they don’t wanna help and are simply just there for a good time. My friends and I (table of 20) all got food poisoning after ordering different menu items. The bowling lady gave away our lane after we paid and said that we can come in 2 hours to play. Fortunately my friends and I fought hard to get our lane. The games were cool and the atmosphere was fun The customer service and service delivery are terrible. We waited 1 and a half hours just for our drinks to come. We then waited another 2 just for the food. The place gave my friends and I food poisoning for 2 days straight. I can only imagine the state of the kitchen. Price per person R 200–250 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
An amazing venue for Adults with hearts of kids. Note, venue is strict with dress code (eg. No Shorts, No Caps etc) but its understandable for the upscale nature of this venue. Honestly they should just concentrate on age restrictions and if venue is full, hold a line till people exit. I am from Durban and would love to have a venue like this in my city.

Great vibe and awesome cocktails. Enjoyed all the different arcade games but wish they were less strict on dress code. Note they only serve pizza, food-wise, until their kitchen is up and running.
