We have enjoyed Cracker Barrel in many locations, but this one was very disappointing. I was given the wrong sides and they did not taste good. The fried fish was hard and overcooked. Jasmine is an excellent server. I loved the broiled catfish, sweet potato & steamed broccoli. I'll be back after my business in L.A. Lower Alabama.. Spent a little too much on toys for the grandkids. Our past 2 visits over the last month has resulted in good food and good service from the wait staff, however took an HOUR to get our food both visits. 4 adults and 2 kids, so not a large party. Week night between 6pm-7pm, probably half the tables were empty so not a busy night. Management said they were short staffed in kitchen both times. Will be a long time before I go back, if ever. We stopped in during a road trip for lunch on a Sunday. It was packed as expected, the parking lot was full. We asked for a table for three and was told the wait was about 35 minutes. We browsed the store and were called to our table after 40 minutes. Our order was promptly talked and the food arrived quickly and per our order. Ok so most everyone knows Cracker Barrel if you in a “Cracker Barrel State” 😂. We had such a great time today for lunch- 9 adults and 3 kids. Did you know that the steak is actually very good? Our party got a combination of breakfast and lunch options and they were all delicious. Our server Tabitha did her best to take care of us and other tables around us on a busy Saturday December shopping day. Speaking of shopping, the store has some great buys on stocking stuffers, clothing, candy, etc. Take the family or even your holiday work lunch crew to Cracker Barrel- you know it’s a safe choice that won’t upset anyone !
