We had a very good lunch experience. The food was amazing. We got the chicken tenders with North Carolina golden sweet barbecue sauce, mac & cheese, and french fries. All it was amazing. Nicholas was our server, and he was amazing exactly what a server should be. I’ve had some bad experience with Cracker Barrel in the past, but gave it another try and it was amazing. I picked up my curbside order 7:50 am 2/21/24 6 cars on the lot not busy and my order came out promptly and the young lady that brought my food was very nice however my order three scrambled eggs sausage and hash brown casserole was lagging. My eggs were not scrambled more like over medium chopped up and seemed like two I paid for three. The two sausage patties were very small dry overcooked and the hash brown casserole could have been hotter. I swear for $13 McDonald's $6 would have been a lot better and Jack n the box $6 definitely would have been a lot better, sad! Took the family (party of 6) here for lunch after Christmas church service. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. We were seated within a few minutes with no reservation. They were packed, but we were very well taken care of. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Cracker Barrel: a restaurant that you can trust to always serve delicious food! There is just something about the hash brown casserole, dumplings, and country cured ham that will have you craving to return. My favorite option to order is the Grandma’s Breakfast platter that comes with sausage, bacon, country cured ham, two eggs, a side, and pancakes or French toast. If you are feeling like ordering breakfast, you can order items from the lunch and dinner menu such as chicken tenders, salads, burgers, sandwiches, country fried steak, turkey, meatloaf, and more. This spot is a family favorite on long road trips because there is something tasty on the menu they everyone will enjoy! Stopped in today to grab lunch, and the service was great. We had Steph, and she was a great server. There was no wait today, and they got us sat right away. Very clean and organized. They had a new grilled chicken dish, which was wonderful, and the seasonal broccoli casserole all was amazing. Husband had breakfast and equal enjoyed his meal. I did end up buying a little Christmas stocking stuffer item as well. Food was great, I always love the country store. Wait service needs training. You do not hand drinks and food to a patron to be passed down the table especially when you only need to walk to the other side to hand it to the person it is for. I prefer my plate not be touched by multiple hands. Other than that, she was friendly and met our needs as requested. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Haven't been here in years but took my Grandpa here for dinner cause he likes it. Food wasn't too bad- it's pretty standard fare. The Chicken Pot Pie and Country Fried Steak and Eggs were good. The mashed potatoes I ordered as my side were really bland but mixing in some of the butter for the biscuits and a little salt made them ok. Server was nice and attentive and the food came out pretty quick. Our brunch date here was great. We had the strawberry stuffed cheesecake pancake and the grandmas breakfast platter and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the fluffy pancakes with their eggs, bacon and country ham. Their buttermilk biscuits were just wow, so incredibly fluffy and crisp on the outside. It went well with their blackberry and strawberry jam. Wish they offered more fruit options as a side to make it more balanced. I also liked their cheesy hash brown casserole, it had good flavour and texture. Would visit again cos the food was 5/5.
