It was our servers first day and she was awesome! The food was terrible. I ordered the meatloaf and it was cold, not even lukewarm, it was cold. The fried okra tasted old and like it was reheated. I ordered the chicken and dumplings, it was a cold, congealed, and disgusting. My okra was also rubbery and reheated. We told the manager and she wanted to redo everything which was appreciated but we didn’t want it redone. She appeared irritated and threw her hands up and told us to have a good evening in a super sarcastic way. Not impressed.

Unrealistic wait time! Management decided not to tell us that the “half hour” wait would turn into almost two hours. And anyone would think “why didn’t you leave?” Well, minute after minute one believes that they will call you “soon”. It’s great that this business is in such high demand. However, psych yourself that if you go for breakfast, moldy likely you will be getting lunch. In a better note, our server was great and apologetic about a situation that is not under her control.
