Stopped in for breakfast right when they opened. No wait. Great Service. Food was good. I really enjoyed my Homestyle Chicken n French Toast. Delicious! Family loved their pancakes. Not a big fan of the syrup nor the sweet tea though. Of course we loved looking around the shop. I frequently purchase their Buttermints in-store and online. I placed a To-Go order. When my family member arrived to pick the order up, they were told ten more minutes a couple times. It turns out our food was taken. When I brought this to their attention, they attempted to shift blame that the food was sitting for an extended period. That was not true, since we arrived ten minutes past the designated time. How can someone’s food be allowed to simply walk off like that? Then, to not even accept responsibility. We were offered a nice drink though. /sarcasm

Great food and service today. Very busy so wait time was lengthy. My maple bacon glazed grilled chicken was very tasty and apples were delicious but the mashed potatoes had been sitting out for awhile and was dry but with gravy still tasty. Husband meatloaf dinner with Mac and cheese and chicken and dumplings were very good. My sons shrimp and steak fries were good and not over cooked. Our waiter was so busy but took great care of us. Biscuits and muffins were excellent as well. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
This evening, my husband and I dined in at this establishment. Typically, we have a pleasant experience with courteous and attentive staff and good food. This evening was an exception. We were seated immediately, and our server, Mary L (whose name I know only because it printed on the receipt), took our drink and food order within several minutes. After that, we waited about ten minutes to get our drinks and nearly an hour before our food came. During this time, Mary L stopped by our table one time to refill the drinks. We watched as other tables around us (who were seated after us) got their food. Finally, Mary L brought our food out and said “Sorry for the wait. The kitchen got backed up for a little bit there.” Mary L did not offer to refill our mostly depleted drinks, nor did she ask if we needed anything else. I ordered the Country Boy Breakfast with scrambled eggs, sirloin tips, hash brown casserole, and fried apples. The steak was over cooked and cold. The eggs and hash brown casserole were cold. The fried apples were still slightly warm but not piping hot as usual. My husband ordered the Hash Brown Casserole Breakfast which was also cold and barely edible. We asked for our check when Mary L dropped off the food in fear that we would not see her again for another 30 minutes (or more). As my husband and I were getting ready to stand up to leave, Mary L brings out the biscuits that were suppose to come with my meal and said “I’m sorry it’s a little late but here are your biscuits.” Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I’m disappointed. The bread basket came after food, and were hockey pucks. The kid Mac and cheese looked like it was made earlier and then microwaved. The fries and chicken tenders were overcooked as well. I couldn’t bite through my son’s tender (he said it wasn’t good and he was right). My husband never got what he ordered but did get what he didn’t. We let the server know and she kinda blew it off. Our friend ordered the sweet potato with only butter, and received all the fixing and the server said, oh I thought you meant you didn’t want cinnamon. What? Also, the soup and another item were late to the table because they were in the microwave. WHAT? Husbands steak looked like it was microwaved. My sausage must’ve been sitting for awhile before coming to our table. Coffee was cold. I’m just so disappointed… Cracker Barrel is suppose to be delicious and good! The gift shop portion was clean and organized, though. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Cracker barrel offers a large menu with many many options so everybody in your party can find something to enjoy. Love the atmosphere here, it's eclectic and fun looking at all the memorabilia and the general store offers things you can't find elsewhere.reminds me of the old fashioned general stores of yesteryear. Try them out you will love it Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had dinner here. We brought a friend who'd never been to Cracker Barrel. He had the catfish and said it was quite good. I had the steak bites, with shrimp and chicken. Shrimp was OK. Chicken just so so. Steak bites were way too chewy. My husband had the steak and said it was chewy too. Thd biscuits were yummy and so was the lemonade. Love thd little shop at thr front of the store! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Service took for ever, our drinks took 32 minutes to get to us and the food was out at 52 minute mark. The restaurant was not full and a lot of people came and went as we waited. The server was friendly just very slow in getting things to us. The grits were a watery mess which was the first time I have ever seen it like this it was grit soup and the waitress did let me know before hand; but I still made the mistake an ordered.
