Food overall was good! Their pancakes are big and buttery in flavor. Portions are good. My parents both got a serving of the hashbrown casserole, and they both said it was crunchy, which they weren't used to. So maybe it was an off day. Be sure to try their new country cherry lemonade! Our server was sweet, however, our food was average at best. We came in at 8:30, knowing they closed at 9. We were seated without issue. We placed our order and my husband's 4 piece fried chicken was lukewarm and soggy, even though our server told is it was fresh as she placed it on our table. We told her how it wasn't fresh, but that we still wanted the chicken and she gladly took it back. A moment later, the manager (I assume, he never introduced himself) came out to tell us the kitchen was shut down. He asked us if we wanted something else, my husband landed on a chicken breast filet, but did ask if it would be cooked fresh, to which the manager replied, "of course." My husband had originally ordered bone in half of a chicken. The manager pointed to his buffalo mac and cheese and said, "well you already have chicken there, how many pieces do you need." Just insanely unprofessional and rude. We couldn't believe that he was so bothered that they served us cold food. We won't be returning. My mom and dad like to go here, so the last 2 times I have gone has been with them.
