It's definitely a cozy place to eat. I was forewarned about the portions and was not disappointed. Food was so good and definitely came home with me. My friends had the polish sampler.....see picture.....looked and smelled like home.

Location: in very small plaza on Rt 516, you can park on the side street and in the back.
Food: HUGE servings! I don’t know anyone who can finish their dish. I ordered Hercules, which was delicious! The veggies and eggs were cooked just right. My friends enjoyed their dishes as well. My only complaint is their coffee creamer. They should offer fresh creamer for the price, and not the “no refrigeration” required ones.
Service: not the best, but good enough. It’s a little on the slow side. Note: your whole party has to be there in order to be seated.
Price: our dishes were all around $15 each and the coffee was $3.

Haven’t been here since ownership had changed and decided to stop in one Sunday morning. We were early, maybe 20 minutes or so after opening. We ordered the corned beef hash that was served with 3 over easy eggs atop the hash and potatoes as well as an eggs Benedict (substituted bacon for the Canadian bacon-no extra charge) with crispy home fries (as ordered). Both dishes were excellent and of course neither of us could finish our plates although we wanted to. Great portions with reasonable prices. Only knock was the service, which took over 15 minutes to get a coffee refill, the waitress asked if I wanted a refill, left, but never returned with the coffee. Had to ask 3 times before I received another cup. I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt, it appeared that she was known my the regulars (appeared to be many) and may have been distracted. All in all, I would definitely be back, maybe for lunch next time 🤷♂️.

We had a great server and the food rivals Le'Peep in Edison....it might be better...🤔! I live in Highland Park & Le'Peep is 10 minutes away, but I'd travel 21 mins for superior food with better prices and service!

I loved the customized home fries with veggies and avocado (which they did not hold back on) and the coffee was just okay
The lunch specials were great with vegetarian options. The pancakes are huge so be careful!

I ordered take out . Had the polish sampler . Potato pancakes were huge .Came with kielbasa and perogies with onions . Delicious . Enough for two plus leftovers. Also ordered the yogurt parfait . Hugh round foil pan with vanilla yogurt bananas strawberries and blueberries . With granola and sliced almonds . Will definitly be going back to try other yummy items on the menu
