Great small town diner. Solid eats and good service. I loved the chili burger, served open faced and smothered in chili. The scramble with southwest sausage is pretty legit for breakfast, too. This is not fine dining, but a solid four stars for great comfort food at a good price when you just don't want to cook at home. This restaurant used to be one of our favorites until a new owner took over. My wife and I returned here after having moved away for a while. We sat down to order but had to leave because of the abundance of 🪰 flies that were everywhere, from one end of the restaurant to the other. We just didn't want to share our food with them. Locally owned restaurant and as another reviewer stated, a hub in this area, as it is the only well known restaurant. Thankfully it is a good one! We hold a few larger family dinners here each year. The staff is usually very prompt and knows how to handle larger parties. I've attached an updated set of MENU photos as it has changed. If I was to have a gripe, it is that Breakfast is served all day (about half of their menu), BUT it is not all day on Friday or Saturday. Wish it was. Burgers and tots are a solid option. Taco salad is fantastic. They do a prime rib special sometimes that is good. Side salid is a good portion with nice variety of toppings. This particular time my Wife had the Turkey open face sandwich and every element from the turkey, to the gravy to the potatoes were extremely over salted, making it virtually inedible.
