I've been coming here for Veterans Day for a while and was always served the full chicken fried steak as advertised and the service was always great. This year, Cotton Patch advertised the meal just as before, so I was expecting the same meal. (I should've suspected something when the waitress said that substituting fries was extra.) What they brought was the smallest chicken fried steak I've ever seen. I am not complaining about the free meal. I do appreciate it. However, I don't appreciate the bait and switch, advertising one thing, then providing the junior version. The food I received was good and it was fresh. (I waited until mid-afternoon so I wouldn't have to wait.) The waitress came across as though she wasn't going to get a tip. (I always tip what the meal would have cost, not what I paid.) After the food was brought, she stopped by once, and never looked my way again. I finally got up and approached the counter to ask her if she needed to see my ID when the manager asked if I needed anything. I asked him my question and he replied that they don't ask for proof of military service. I also asked if I was served the junior version and he said it was and that this year "they" decided that's what it would be. Whoever made the decision to make that change without advertising what they actually intended to serve made a mistake. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Took a while to even be noticed at the door. Restaurant had plates sitting on the surrounding tables most of my meal. The food was good, not great. Baked potato was very small for an upgraded side. My waiter was inattentive and slow. Most of the staff was in back the whole time I was there, despite customers needing items. Definitely do NOT come here. The Original Neal's is 100% BETTER in EVERY WAY. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
The atmosphere was nice and tidy. The food was amazing, with huge portions and outstanding prices. I have heard mixed reviews about Cotton Patch, so I was weary to try it out. I am so glad I did! Nothing but a full belly and enjoyable food! I would recommend and will be back to visit in the future. We had the fried flounder. The fried green tomatoes all the food was fresh and very tasty! (Update 12/15/23, they messed up again so I'm removing another star. Ordered 2 chicken fried chicken meals and one is quite a bit smaller than the other.) Normally my go to place For delivery. I typically get the chicken fried chicken/steak or tenders but this time I Ordered burgers and meatloaf. Portion sizes were good for everything except the meatloaf. Definitely not enough to feed someone for dinner. Also, the rolls were overcooked and hard as though they were leftover from lunch. So disappointing. Been wanting to try this place and so glad I finally came! Their hot fresh rolls are amazing, chicken fried chicken and cream gravy was excellent, and the peach cobbler was a great end to the meal. They're very affordable and the food all tastes freshly made. They have daily specials from Mon-Sat, 2 for $25 and all apps and desserts are under $7. Will come back soon, maybe on unlimited fried fish, fries, and hush puppy fryday 😄 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Peach Cobbler

Absolutely disgusting. Every time I order on Uber something is always wrong. I spoke with the manager Melanie and she was nice about the situation and offered to replace my meals in the future. But after eating the food I’m never going back so I’d prefer a refund. CPC got my money, Uber got their cut and only gave me $2 for the inconvenience while I had to buy food somewhere else because I couldn’t eat what tasted like funnel cake chicken. All it was missing was the powdered sugar!! Uber messed up and put no gravy so I really couldn’t enjoy the order. Here’s my order an hour later. I’m so upset because I wasted my time and money for this below par quality service and food. The chicken has NOOOO TASTE!!!! Just like sweet crusted funnel cake chicken. Also, when I went inside to pick up the food. 4 employees looked me dead in the eye and kept cleaning and listening to the music on their headphones. I couldn’t believe it. Horrible food and slow service and I’ll never eat there again. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It was my family’s first time at this place. The food was okay. It wasn’t overwhelmingly amazing, but it was good! If you’ve ever been, the atmosphere & some of the menu items kind of remind me of Mia’s Table. Some of the food could’ve been better, but the lemon herb grilled salmon I had was the best thing I tasted besides the brisket queso! The catfish & dumplings had good flavor as well! There were a few things I wanted to try that they were out of & would take 20+ minutes to make, so I would return!
Extremely poor service. Young male server named Chris was sent to take our order & took our drink order (iced tea) then went & milled about behind the counter & in back disappearing completely for long enough that another employee asked if we'd been helped then found him somewhere in the back. She returned & said that she would be our server although he brought our drinks & was Johnny on the spot with our bill & when it came time for our tip and apologized for his earlier inattention. Before that we had to flag him down just to get takeout boxes for our meal. The food was so-so with my husband's meatloaf being somewhat dry & only a thin line of 'sauce'. My Cajun seafood was very good and our fried green tomatoes were okay. The batter was very good but the variety of tomatoes used had a very tough skin. Went today for a date with my husband we've been here before but today it was one bad thing after another. First I order the fried green tomatoes my favorite they were good problem was we weren't given any napkins no small plates to share we had to cut them in the basket and eat them as they were dripping on our hand down the fork. Okay no biggie I asked for napkins after eating it that way, ordered my food and although we were offered rolls at the beginning of the meal we didn't get them until almost finished and I ordered mac and cheese as one of my sides never received it until I was almost done with my food I told the waiter just put it to go at that point and after receiving it looked inside to what looked like boxed kraft Mac and cheese I left it there. Very disappointed what was supposed to be a good time after not having a date for months with my husband was embarrassing. Steak was good though the only thing I will compliment Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes Steak
