About
Clients may eat perfectly cooked tamales, tacos and pork at Costa Chica. Tasty pan dulce can make a profound impression on you. In accordance with the guests' opinions, democratic prices for nice meals aren't about this place. But the overall score of this spot on Google is 4.3.

O.M.G. HANDS DOWN..... THE BEST..... THE BEST.... CORN TAMALES AND SALSA! WOW! I've had my share of tamales: tons of local and out of state restaurants, different countries, lunch trucks, frozen tamales in grocery stores including trader joe's..... and not one .... not one place makes their tamale like this hole in the wall mexican mini grocery store in Federal Way!! Amazing! Holy smokes! The best corn tamale anywhere! They hand make and serve the grilled/steamed tamale hot.... buy their tomato salsa separate and the combo is unbelievably delicious! IT'S A MUST TRY! Especially if you're in the Federal Way area.... Compact mexican/Spanish grocery store with a meat deli (cheap prices for meat!), bakery, hot food deli.... love this place! Food: 5 (corn tamales & homemade salsa!) Service: N/A Decor & Ambiance: 2 Cleanliness: 3 (Its a mini grocery store)

Customer service is 6 out 5 stars (it's that great) very kind ppl work at this place. Meat is pretty fresh, a little more expensive than other places, but it's worth. They have sweet bread, fresh produce, spices and some alcoholic drinks as well, not mention that they sell delicious tamales and some ready to eat food. Love it!!
You could find a lot of yummy mexican ingredients here. It's my favorite place to buy my tortillas, queso enchilado, spices and dried chiles. Their panaderia is decent. They also sell tamales and have a butcher.
They have everything a Mexican household needs. The meat deli is awesome. They cut your meats by your choice. They also sell Mexican dishes and tacos. Cool little spot to grab a bite

Pan dulce shelfs full of flies, food seemed old and customer service was terrible. Prices high too for nothing being fresh or recent.
It's a cozy little store, variety of tamales when you first walk in. Sweet bread available (pan dulce) Carne Asada already seasoned ready to cook at the back of the store available the butcher is eager to answer any Q. or give cooking tips. Other meats available you wouldn't find at Safeway. Also a makeshift area to eat inside their's a hot deli to pick out different dishes. I like the huge corn tortillas for sale to make huge tacos out of.
Calling it a Panaderia is a bit generoso. Nobody was at the register to help. Walked out. You are better walking next door to Campeon Market.

Best tamales and popusa in the area. Bakery I didn't like, dry, stale, generic bread. Overall, cool quaint authentic experience. It's a Mini mart with hot food.
I stopped in on Sunday and bought two dozen tamales for a party. Everyone loved them and raved about how delicious they were. We will be back!
I asked for a plate of lamb and they gave me goat meat instead so I called to let them know and they told me they couldn't exchange or refund me and since I paid more than $40 for something I didn't asked for I don't recommend this place. I'm very disappointed-
