Decided to take a break from the beach and get some lunch, found this place not too far away from us. We were very happy with the food selection and excellent service that was provided. I was quite surprised to see how busy it was but after experiencing the food myself, I can see why. We're from Idaho and I'd never experienced the chuleta can can. My husband had this dish on a previous trip to PR. It's as amazing as you expect, super crunchy delicious fatty pork. Although I could have also made a meal of just the arroz and habichuelas ❤️❤️. Loved the tostones and mayoketchup. Excellent service, beautiful restaurant. It was great food after a beach day. Lots of families. Big place with several different dining areas and plenty of service people. Piña colada was so tasty, yums. On the small side, but so is the price. The grouper nuggets are simply delicious. Lightly coated and served hot. A great starter. The Arroz Volao' is a great version of a paella without the seafood. The restaurant itself is beautiful. You can tell they took the time to decorate and make it as visually appealing as possible. It was very busy when we went but there was parking and we didn't have to wait. We ordered chicken. One in garlic sauce the other sautéed with onions. Both were well cooked but SUPER bland. I really wanted to like this place but I could barely eat my tasteless chicken. We paired it with rice and that was good. They also didn't have many of the things we wanted to order available. The absolute best food we had on vacation. The pasta was homemade and fresh. The mussels were amazing. The cheese appetizer was amazing. The oysters were amazing. The drinks were beautiful. The service was excellent. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend!! We will absolutely return on our next trip!!! Food was truly absolutely amazing. We stumbled in this restaurant not knowing what to expect. The service was top notch and it was very delicious. Our favorite was the Nuggets Mero (friend grouper) and also the corn fritters. The portions were very nicely sized. Would definitely recommend and would come back here to eat.
