Someone recommended this spot. So after walking the Galleria mall with my son and working up an appetite. We decided to give this spot a try. It's a block away from Hawthorne Bl. and right across the street from the Lawndale City Hall. We both ordered a double cheeseburger combo. The fries were great tasting, but the burger was average at best. Overall, it was an OK experience. I'm glad we tried it, but it's definitely not a return trip in the near future. Pleasantly surprised to find this little burger joint in the middle of Lawndale. We were driving past and really felt like a good burger, and Corner Burger did not disappoint. Juicy burger, really fresh tomatoes and lettuce, great buns. Chili cheese fries are excellent too. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the outdoor umbrellas are on wheels so they are easy to reposition.
