Live Music & Wine on a weeknight. Very friendly atmosphere, everyone was warm and welcoming. The layout of the location doesn't allow for much more than a smallish attendance but the outdoor seating was a huge plus!!! Very good vibe, fantastic music! Next time I will bring my dog and sit outside!! Price per person $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cork49, previously Smith's Tasting Room, is an absolute Grass Valley treasure! Amazing wines from around the world curated by the magnificent sommelier and owner, Bob the Brilliant. Great spot, great art inside, great wine, great owners - what else could one want in a local wine bar?!

Amazing Atmosphere! The owner was completely disinterested in us, very obvious that he caters to the regulars. Did not have wine flights on Sundays even though it’s on the menu listed as Saturdays and Sundays. Did not have frozen drinks on the menu as he stated he didn’t feel like getting the machine ready yet. Could have easily overlooked that had the owner spent some time engaging with us and we would have bought a second tasting. Missed opportunity of sales on his part and not how to run a business in a slow town. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Bob is a real corker! He runs his place like he’s 49, but we all know he’s tipping 59 now! His wine is fine and ambiance divine! Best Sommelier in the western states! Come on up here and give him a try.

Finally went here for the first time during Cornish Christmas. Such a great experience, and will definitely be back! Heather and Jenny were the absolute best! :-)

Ask Bob for a taste of his special wines or order his daily special. I worked my way up from the Pinot to the Cab Sav. Friendly crowd and good local music. A growing business celebrating its 1st year. See you next time! 5 star if you had a bar menu..
