Positive reviews are all from at least a year ago, which totally checks out. Shocking service. No drinks available at all - not even Coke. Food never came, despite calling our order in hours ahead of lunch time. I don’t know if it’s under new management, or if they just can’t manage the busy season, but my experience in July 2020 was completely opposite to December 2021. By far my worst experience in 2 years of living in Kenya.

Coral spirit restaurant is one of those places that you go to and truly know for a fact that you didn’t waste your time or your money....I love the ambience, the view, the food😋😋, and the serenity that it has. The staff are friendly and enjoy serving their clients. It’s an amazing place to go and dine. If you find yourself in Shimoni, I would recommend that you visit and I believe you won’t be disappointed and also If you are looking for an out of town place to dine...Coral Spirit Restaurant is the place to be!!!!!

Coral Spirit Restaurant is the place to be if you are looking to eat and relax by the ocean while in shimoni. The restaurant gives an amazing view overlooking wasini island and offers a variety of delicious sea foods. Not forgetting to mention the ambiance. I definitely Loved my experience at the restaurant.

The trip to kisite mpunguti marine park was amazing, there was very friendly and knowledgeable guides who were ready to help. Then we went to coral spirit restaurant, the sea food lunch was fantastic, thumbs up to the service team, 100% I'm recommending this to my friends, continue with the good spirit.

Am here right now. Enjoyed every moment. The meals, the cool breeze, the company, the staff. Immediately I arrived here I felt so calm. We came in a group of 40 and were served efficiently and sufficiently. I highly recommend this getaway for individuals and groups.

A beautifully furnished, professionally run ocean side restaurant set in a private garden with it own private beach. The perfect place to enjoy a sea food platter after a sight seeing tour of Shimoni, Wasini or the Kisite Mpunguti marine park.

When you are in shimoni and you'd like your day spend wisely while getting nice view of wasini island..(the former shimoni gardens) and now currently (coral spirit restaurant) is the place to be!!..being there several times with family and friends having lunch together I've never been disappointed..from exotic to Swahili dishes it's always fingerlicking..seafood which is my" favourite "and drinks are at a reasonable prices..wherever you are and wherever you come from!!..either a tourist or a resident once you are in kwale county think big..think coral spirit restaurant!!!..and you will walk out with a smiley face and with your shoulders high..thanks alot to coral spirit restaurant and staff..see you soon..hungry and craving for more!!
