About
Try nicely cooked lamb and good chicken tikka. Fine service is something that visitors don't like at this restaurant. Copper Chimney & Sabbah Collection hasn't gained a high rating from Google users.

Very disapppointing. Their breyani used to be the best. Ordered after a few years. Was awful. 3 tiny pieces of chicken,no flavour and really dry. The chicken karai was better but does not come with any naan or roti yet costs over R100. Food is overpriced and not worth the portion sizes. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Good daily specials, with a decent area to sit with family. Servers are generally readily available to assist. Tikka and breyani dishes are fantastic as well.
Saturday night with the family, out at an amazing show at the circus. Planned to dine at North beach but low shedding put a damper on that plan. Made our way to Gateway but after calling ahead, the restaurant we had chosen to dine was fully booked for a wedding party. Finally we returned to the Copper chimney at the Phoenix Plaza . Definitely the best choice for price, variety and quality with quantity. We had opted for 2 of the family pack with encompassed an expansive dining experience. Our waiting assistant, Zafar was ever attentive and eager to help with our order. Advising us on choices to enhance the meal eg Nan bread. Meals were brought to the table promptly and eating was so enjoyable having a place to accommodate our large party. The total bill was definitely a pleasant sight which allowed the night to end on a sweeter note. Never doubt the eateries that’s cater to you in your own back yard. Well Done, Copper Chimney Phoenix. food is value for money as they have everyday specials, I always order from the durban branch the butter chicken though they can do better as it just does not taste right Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person R 250–300 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Mixed Nuts Waffle
Absolutely awful bunny, curry tasteless, bread walls so thick, no flavour no salt. 3 pieces of meat. Requested for manager which never came. Paid R95 for the worst bunny experience of my life.

If you order Mutton bunny in the morning around 10 or 11 expect to get yesterdays curry which they add water and make it so steamy that it has been cooked in the morning. I had that experience and told the waiter, waiter asked the chef, chef said his sorry. What they forgetting is that we as Indian, we cook curry everyday. Don't bluff us with fresh curry or Yesterdays curry. We know the difference. Also the restaurant needs urgent repairs cos it's falling apart. Thanks
On 17 may my hubby and I went to eat burger special. After ordering the lady tells us no chips comes with burger. Also chicken didn't cover the burger. Mutton samosa in menu book dnt say quantity for 40.00.i asked the lady. She said 4.samoosa was tasty.. Trying to say dnt mislead yr customers to order. Then another story when go inside. It was my birthday with a dissatisfied customer
I visited this store today. Ordered 3 bombay crush and a family meal, received 3 strawberry milkshakes and the manager wasnt around to assist so waited for my food and when it arrived i found that the chicken was still raw inside, finally the manager arrives and i explained to him my issues, his response to me was that i wont get sick with eating raw chicken as well as he cant see blood on the chicken he further urgued with me saying that if i can give him words so can he, not once did he apologise for serving me raw chicken, such a poor excuse for a manager. I would appreciate a call from the owner of this restuarant.

Bought supper from here. Two half lamb bunnies, 2 quarter chicken bunnies and 1 broad beans curry. I don't know where to start. The lamb is not lamb but mutton. It is not an authentic curry. The bunny was soggy and the salad was dismal. The potatoes were hard like they were reheated. Even the chicken bunny was just average. I like the practice of adding extra gravy aside from the bunnies. The broad beans were uncooked and hard. For the amount we paid and the quality of food received were dismal. Wouldn't recommend and won't buy from here ever.
