I had only been to Stanford Grill before visiting this place. They really are the same place menu's and all. They actually had some older menu Items that the Columbia Stanford Grill has since removed. My go to was always the Meat loaf or the Rattlesnake Pasta. It's always worth it to listen to the daily / weekly specials for appetizers and entrees. And as always, the best service around. Tried Copper Canyon Grill for my birthday today. It was outstanding! I had never been, but had heard great things about it. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive…without being too pesky. I ordered the Rattlesnake Pasta, my husband and one friend got the ribs, and my other friend got the rotisserie chicken. Everything was soooooo good! I would highly recommend and can’t wait to return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I got the Stanford burger and the fiesta eggrolls. The burger was a bit underwhelming the burger tasted fresh but bland flavor wise. The fiesta rolls saved the day. It was like an omelette in a taco, the fresh green onion and bell pepper mixed in with the cheese, gave it a hearty taste. Overall, the portions were really big and it was worth the money but the Burger just left me wanting more. OK, so I didn't want to write a review of Copper Canyon Grill until I had been back. My first experience was at the Glenarden location prior to the pandemic, and I was blown away. The service was impeccable, the food outstanding and the atmosphere pleasant and inviting. When my wife's birthday approached recently and I asked her where she's like to go to celebrate, she immediately said Copper Canyon Grill. This time we visited the newly remodeled Silver Spring location and the results were the same: exceptional food and service at an affordable price. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. I was literally watching every plate that went past our booth on a serving tray. The Ahi Tuna, the steaks, the burgers, the skillet cornbread...you name it. But I would be remiss if I didn't mention their rotisserie chicken, which is the house specialty. Whether you order a chicken pot pie or a salad with chicken, the chicken you get in those dishes was roasted on site. Copper Canyon Grill is a scratch kitchen, so everything is made there fresh. And don't pass up the desserts. You'll be doing yourself a disservice. We ordered coffee with our dessert and they brought it to us in a French press. Elegant dining at an affordable price. You cannot do better than Copper Canyon Grill. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chicken Pot Pie

Ordered the cornbread for appetizer which came out hot and fresh. Very good! For entrees had the branzino with green beans, and a side of Mac and cheese. The fish was cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese was so good. I could have made a meal of just that. Our other entree (mine) was prime rib and mashed potatoes. The prime rib was very tender and melted in my mouth. The potatoes were very peppered which I really liked. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Iron Skillet Cornbread
A few weeks ago, my mother and I visited Copper Canyon Grill after visiting our family member in the hospital. We hadn’t eaten for most of the day, so it’s safe to say that we were famished and needed a good place to go. Johnny was our server, and he was kind, attentive, and informative about the special items that weren’t on the menu. Unfortunately, out of all the food that we had, the chicken fiesta egg rolls and cole slaw were the only items that were really good. The cornbread was over baked , but the butter saved the moisture. The chicken was also dry and the sauce that was provided, wasn’t really helping to bring back the moisture that was gone. The asparagus was alright. However, the mac and cheese was overrun by the bacon flavor. This can be okay for some people, but it seemed like the other flavors were completely missing. Also, if it’s considered baked mac and cheese, I would’ve liked to see it more solidified. The spinach and branzino that my mom had was rather salty and could not be consumed without water. We did order a peanut butter cheesecake to go, of which was nice and velvety. Overall, I had an okay experience here. If I did come back, I would consider trying something else like a burger and fries. They only have a one page menu and just about everything on it is fantastic. Avoid the chicken pot pie (of all the dishes I’ve tried this is one I’ll NEVER get again. This time the shrimp cargot was good- just not as good as usual. The people I was with enjoyed it (but this was their first time having it). Don’t get me wrong, it was good! Just not as good as usual. The smoked salmon is amazing. The crab cakes are very flavorful. My favorite appetizer is the fiesta egg rolls (excellent). Always a good meal with great service. 11/14/2023 Update: Adding video of the Rattlesnake Pasta (delicious) and Fiesta Egg Rolls (also delicious)! The food was great, but the service was even better. Our server, Yessly, was amazing. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made our meal a truly special experience. We started with the shrimp cargot, which is a must, and we had the Ahi Tuna Salad and the Ribeye, both of which were cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were peppery, but still delicious. The green beans were just okay. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp Cargot
