The lady and I visited Cool Hand Luke's on a Wednesday evening, it was pretty quiet. Alejandra was our waitress, she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the calamari, prime rib, and classic New York Strip- everything was cooked perfectly to order. The au jus for the prime rib... 🤌. The meal does come with bread and smokey campfire beans- which were okay, but really just fillers; I'd recommend saving your appetite for the steaks, they're delicious. Enjoy! Being that we used to be Cool Hand Luke regulars we were HIGHLY disappointed with our food today. We order steak bites for our appetizer & there was only 4 small pieces of steak & the rest was mushrooms. & this dish is half the size it used to be for about $5 increase. Our salad was small & the ranch was really watery. The butter that came with the rolls had no flavor & the beans tasted more like they came from a can than how the campfire beans used to be. When we received our meals which there are photos attached the potato sides were more than the meat. We honestly felt like we were eating carne asada at a Mexican restaurant it was thin. Let alone half of mine was fat. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We went to Fresno for. Wrestling tournament this weekend and afterwards, as a treat to celebrate their success, we dropped in at Cool Hand Luke’s Steakhouse. I have never visited this restaurant in the past, but my husband has, so we decided to go. When we walked up to the entry there was quite a elaborate setup of country western props. One of which was a wagon and even a jail cell. I found this to be quite special and was excited by the outside decor. When I entered in it was even more decorated. From saloon doors, bar and wagon wheels to bull horns and beer bottles adorning the walls. There was a lot of decor to look at and it was quite entertaining. We did come during lunch hours, so we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. She brought us a basket of bread with garlic Parmesan butter and a caldron with bean soup dip and both were really good. We ordered an appetizer of onion blossom, my favorite. It was a little smaller than I’ve had in the past, but it still tasted great. As a dipping sauce they had a horseradish dipping sauce. I prefer good old ranch instead, which I did request. They did have a very large drink menu, which was nice, as there was a bunch to choose from. I ordered a Malibu drink and it was really good with an orange peel and a cherry. For the main course, I ordered the chicken friend steak, which I only ate a little of, since we had to wait quite a while to get our entrees my stomach decided it was full. The kids had the tri-tip sand which with fries and my husband ordered the ribs. He did say it was a little dry, but not to bad. All and all, I would say it was a fun dinning experience and I would visit this establishment next time I am in Fresno. Thanks guys! Very good! The waiting for walk-in is about 10-15 minutes on a Sunday night, which is surprisingly awesome. The food was tasty. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The only downside is that whoever works in the kitchen doesn’t read notes, I asked for a dish with no bacon while my friend ordered well done. My order came with bacon and my friend got their steak medium, but they fixed it and also brought us a dessert of our choice as an apology ❣️. One of the staff that brings the food to the table (Literally )throws the table like she was in hurry or something whereas the other one is ver nice and considerate.
I pulled in because the name reminded of a classic movie, and it promised a steak. I ended up getting some of the best food I've had in years. Hot, fast, and delicious, and Alejandra took great care of me. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was delicious and the portions were almost to much. We got 2 meals and we easily have enough for tomorrow's lunch. The vibe was pretty cool too. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
My husband had Bourbon salmon, I had the combo with shrimp, ribs, baked potato, my son had the ribeye with baked potato and my stepson had the chicken pasta. All the food came put hot and looked great. My husband said the salmon was excellent and sweet. My Son said his steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and was great and my stepson didn't stop eating to tell me his food was good until the entire plate gone. This place is a great steak house. Try the pot pie soup! Everything we've ever ordered from here is great. You get what you pay for!!! Highly recommend. The coconut 🍤 was off the knott ! The prime rib sandwich w/fries was very good, and the bun was super soft.. My husband loved the Cobb Salad. The sour dough bread rolls were very warm, and the baked beans were good. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50
