A gem. I visited the tasting room and have been a wine club member ever since, in order to get my fix of Compton’s hospitality & fantastic wine (I live in TX). Cannot speak highly enough of their customer service, communication, and product. I am a proud member of their wine club, and they take measures to ensure I have the best experience with their product 2,000+ miles away. I highly suggest stopping in to their storefront to see the concrete eggs… and encourage y’all to join the wine club!!
Best winery we’ve visited in Oregon. The staff are so friendly - the essence of what we look for in any business. They were incredibly helpful and took their time with us. We had our two girls with us as well (9 and 10) and not a single complaint :). There were other folks in the winery but we felt like we were the only ones. Well done.

We just happened upon this winery. We lived the Pinot Gris, Müller Thurgau, the the SUPERB Compton Alpine Pinot Noir! The follow COVID procedures excellently, outstanding values for very well crafted wine.
We love wine tasting at Compton Family Winery! We are locals, so it is a short trip for us to be able to taste award winning wines from the friendly owners, tasting room manager, and employees. They are very community minded, and give back generously to multiple agencies in Benton County. I am all about supporting local! Bonus that they serve quality, delicious wines. It is a no-fuss place to wine taste. I always feel welcomed and never feel the stuffiness that can happen while tasting at some places. Tabitha, the owner, is great! Highly recommend stopping by, and from there it is only a few more miles to check out a couple of other Benton County wineries. Cheers!

Angela is so knowledgeable about the wines they make! She’s so sweet, and great for conversation. Had a blast doing the tasting and left with a few bottles to take back home. Will absolutely be coming back
We love Compton Family Winery. The wines are very good and they offer such a great variety of wines. Matt and Tabitha are such hard workers and so very hospitable, it’s a joy to visit them. Their price point is very fair and quite reasonable for the quality of the wines. We enjoyed ourselves immensely last month as we had our tasting outside with Tabitha serving and visiting with us. Our cellar is definitely well stocked with Compton Wines.
I love Compton Family wines, (Formally Spindrift Winery). They make excellent wine with a choice for everyone, reds and whites. My favorite is one of their Pinot Noirs. They are also super friendly with reasonable prices. We always stop there in our way to the Central Oregon Coast for a lovely start to our weekend.
We love this small, local family-run winery. The wine is very good and affordable. Matt and Tabitha make you feel like a welcome guest. They have recently added outdoor seating in addition to the tasting room. The only downside is it doesn't have a lovely view to enjoy while sipping their great wine.
Compton Family Winery is truly a family affair and they include you in theirs! I have been a club member for 10 years, right about the time I became a mom of two beautiful adopted children! I have always felt welcomed by Tabitha. She has gone out of her way to make me feel comfortable whether I was alone or with my kids or with friends. It is wonderful to pick up wine on our way camping to the coast! My favorite is the summer rose' or the holiday port. Lately, I find the SeaO2 bubbly really fun for everyday drinking. I recently switched from being an all red member to a mix and am enjoying the variety. During Covid, Tabitha carefully shipped wine for me as professional gifts. They were perfect thank you gifts. So, yes, a 5 star rating for sure!!
We are members of the wine club at Compton (formerly Spindrift), so we get 6 bottles of their wine 4 times a year. It is not real cheap, but we really do like their wine, especially their pinot noirs and pinot blanc. They have a nice outdoor seating area now and you can make appointments for wine tasting and not have to worry about being indoors. They also offer curbside pick-ups and have some great sales on cases. Owners and staff and really nice folks!
