Was recommended to go, we were told that it was rated one of the top spots to go to in the USA. The steaks cooked to perfection, the baked patato was good, but the bacon on the potato was everything. The drinks were strong, and the rolls came out hot. Would definitely go again. Food was some of the best I've ever had. Appetizer through dessert. Steaks was perfectly cooked to our likeness, medium rare, and melt in your mouth tender. Definitely will eat here again. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture but it looked as good as it tasted. Beautiful historic building restaurant setting, not so much if you are seated in their plastic tent extension, takes away from experience. Menu is typical steak house fare, with wide variety of sides and good wine list. Very crowded deal inside and out, restroom availability doesn’t seem to accommodate the large seating numbers. Expect to miss your meal delivery while waiting for an under allotted unisex restrooms. Service is quite good, knowledgeable and friendly. Wonderful Birthday Dinner! Drinks: after a full day of winery tours, I needed a pick me up and best decision. ESPRESSO MARTINI is amazing! Creamy but still rich! Food: -Heirloom Tomato salad was light and refreshing! The vinegarette was not over powering. -RIBEYE: perfectly cooked, Medium 14 oz steak. Again full of wine and cheese from the day, so I split it with my friend. The steak was split before coming to the table, however not dry. Perfectly rested yet still warm! -POTATO GRATIN: loved! I don’t know what else I can say other than it’s amazing! -HASHBROWN: good (gratin is better though :] ). Well seasoned. Definitely get with onions. -PECAN PIE: :( southern Belle and this didn’t hit the mark. The crust tasted layered maybe like phyllo. Prefer buttery crumbled crust. The filling was good, but crust makes pie. My opinion. Atmosphere: had a late night dinner, cozy and warm. Not too loud, tables are a little close but could still have a private conversation. Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Coles Chop house! The shrimp cocktail left me speechless – it's truly one of the best I've ever had. The succulent shrimp perfectly complemented the tangy sauce, creating a delightful burst of flavors in every bite. The restaurant's ambiance was charming, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
