We have stopped here on several trips. Baked goods are made right there and are fantastic! Hot food is delicious too. Our latest stop included baked mac and cheese, and chile lime quesadilla. The barista needs a little more training on creating good foam but that is our only complaint. It is mostly self serve but that is fine.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the ambiance. The highlight for me was their Tomato Soup, which I highly recommend - it's rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive range of vegetarian options available, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. The overall atmosphere of the place added to the dining experience, making it a delightful visit. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for quality meals in a comfortable setting.

Great place to stop on the North Shore. We ordered the Reuben sandwich which was absolutely delicious and perfect. We also ordered the chips and salsa which was supposed to come with sour cream… maybe they were out. My trail salad also missing some ingredients listed on the menu and the lettuce itself a little brown but most of it delicious. This is a deli style eatery where you order your food at the counter and then it comes out to you. No real opportunity for corrections, but all in all I would recommend stopping here.

In my 37 years of life I can now proclaim I’ve found the best quesadilla on EARTH, and it’s in northern MN of all places. I had the Pineapple Chicken Quesadilla and I kid you not, It literally brought tears to my eyes. I had no idea a quesadilla could make me so happy. This is not an exaggeration, a simply honest review. Thank you CoHo Cafe for this life-altering dining experience! 😂🫶

We liked Coho Café! It was a cute atmosphere, with a nice patio, and a variety of choices. We appreciated that they had vegan options. There was a vegan croissant, a vegan black bean burger, and even vegan pizza upon request. They seemed understaffed, which is common these days. The food quality was okay but nothing great. Overall, a good experience!

The food here is just exceptional. All the baked goods are top notch. The wild rice biscuits and gravy are slap yo' mama good, and the coffee is really good as well. Really busy, but worth it. The only real downside is that parking kinda sucks if it's busy.

The Coho Cafe is a great little spot to grab food to go or eat in. The Call of the Wild pizza is fantastic!
I’ve also had a have sandwich with salad for lunch and it was a very generous serving.
It’s often quite busy, so you may end up waiting a bit, but the atmosphere is pleasant.
I will definitely stop again!

We sat on the patio with the doggo. I got the black bean burger, which was so delicious! Service was friendly. Cute outdoor shop next door. Highly recommend!

Update August 30 & 31 2023. I had originally.been very pleased with everything here, food and facility, having eaten here a dozen or more times over several years. I had given them 4.4 stars, but I am updating my review today because it's clearly not being maintained the way it haf bern in the past. Feces on the wall in the men's room yesterday morning, still there today. The toilet seat is broken. The paper towel dispenser not working yesterday and still not working today. I ate there yesterday and then noticed the poor condition of the restroom..I did not eat here today because they clearly are not cleaning very well. iOrder at the counter and self service coffee etc. Good value. My hash browns were not hot this time and a bit dry, but I have had a delicious breakfast sandwich here before. Nice outdoor seating area.

Had lunch here on a Monday while staying in Tofte. It’s a cute quiet little place with a window that overlooks the lake. It was not too busy, only 2-3 other parties while we were there. You order at the counter and then the food is brought to your table w/ cloth napkins and silverware. Once done, there’s a little station for you to deposit your dishes/trash w/ takeout boxes available for leftovers. Service was average, but nothing to complain about.
I had the Mac and cheese, it was good. In hindsight, I should’ve ordered a more “exciting” meal. My boyfriend had the Walleye tacos w/ chips and salsa. The tacos were great but I felt they were a bit pricey ($20). Then again, I’m not sure what the going rate for Walleye is so I may be mistaken. Chips/salsa were good, typical.
All this to say it was a good experience. I would go again to try other meals and enjoy the quaint environment.
