Zibah is the best. She is knowledgeable and helps me find vegan items on the menu, she is always so kind. Sometimes the food takes a while to come out, it gets very busy here! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Breakfast

This is a coffee shop (and more). This is not a restaurant. It isn't fast food but the food is fast. It's appropriately California-priced. The items that are pre-made are pre-made, and if you order something different, they make it then and there. Those expectations are clear the moment you walk in. It's exactly what it should be. This place is better than you expect, unless you expect it to be a pizza place and taco truck and bar and sushi bar and steakhouse. I can't help but feel like some reviews are unrealistic in expectations. What I can say is that I had a great cup of coffee and sandwich, my vegan girlfriend was similarly happy, and we perused an adjoining bookstore with our coffees. I even re-bought a cookbook nextdoor that I had lost previously, and the brick and mortar price was only $5 more than the Amazon price. What else do people expect? I'll happily come back. This place is great. And they have Henhouse on tap. Do people realize how rare that is? Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
