Incredible cooking class experience!
Started with a tour at the local market, then cooked 4 dishes and learned so many things about their culture.
We cooked spring rolls, amok fish, beef loklak and a coconut dessert!
Everything was so delicious and the family who runs the restaurant is adorable
Don’t miss out this beautiful experience!
Thank you so much

A very popular restaurant and cooking school, situated just off the main hub with the market.
Throughout our stay, this little restaurant was always popular, and we eventually managed to get to eat there. The staff were really nice and attentive, even giving recommendations.
The food was delicious, good-sized portions, and freshly prepared. The Tom Yum was one of the best I have eaten.

Small cafe serving traditionally prepared Khmer food and offering Cambodian cooking classes to the public. Using local ingredients and made fresh on order. Small but tasty menu and drinks on offer. Their cooking classes are a hit with visitors!

We had a great morning Vegan cooking class at Lyly’s family restaurant. In the morning Lyly himself took us to the market and bought us a Vegan breakfast (sticky rice with banana!). Then he explained a lot about the market and ingredients he bought for our class. It was a joyful tour and Lyly is a very kind person, he seems to genuinely care about his community.
After we started cooking with our female host (she is family but not sure how she relates to Lyly). Also full of joy and took the time to explain us in detail how it is to live in Cambodia. This was a nice extra which we didn’t expect. We had a private cooking class so maybe there is no time for it when you’re in a group but we enjoyed the conversation!
Then the main attraction, the cooking. We’ve learned to cool four amazing Cambodian dishes. Because we’re Vegan they adjusted all the ingredients so we could eat it. We had a wonderful time and enden eating our own delicious meals. We would recommend everybody to do this cooking class. 100% worth the money and time!
Thank a lot Lyly and family!
Amazing delicious experience! We have eaten 2 times for dinner Amok fish with curry unbelievable, juice and banana rolls it was magic. So kind people. We came back again to take banana rolls as take away again.
You have to go there absolutely !!

Having taken both the cooking classes on this street I can tell you that this is, by a small degree, the better one. Both are similar in length, number of dishes and the initial market tour. Lily's advantages are :
* you can choose your own menu
* Lily and his wife are particularly lovely & informative hosts
* Lily gives a better, clearer market tour
* You get a printed and a PDF recipe book
* You get given, included, as much drinking water as you want
* Minor things like the spring roll dipping sauce being more sophisticated and tastier.
Please note that tuk-tuk drivers have been known to drop students at the wrong cookery class. Double check you are at the correct one, they are only 2–3 doors apart on the same street.

The cooking class with Lyly and his wife was really great. We first went to the market, where a lot was explained to us, which we found really interesting. The cooking class itself was also well designed, you make 4 dishes and the food tasted really delicious. You can also chose a vegetarian option.

We booked onto the cooking class and were lucky enough to have a private session!
We have done a few cooking classes across SE Asia and this has been the best so far! It started with Lyly taking us off to the local market. He was very knowledgable and could answer all our questions. We bought some ingredients and headed back to spend the rest of the time with Savath. She was very funny and made everything clear. She gave lots of handy tips for when we cook the dishes back home.
The food was amazing and so tasty - would recommend to anyone who is looking for a chilled out afternoon and a nice meal to finish it off!
We made Fish Amok, Lok Lak (Chicken/Tofu), Curry (Chicken/Tofu) and a Chocolate mouse for dessert. All SUPER tasty.
Thank you both!

The food was fantastic and we went back two days later for a cooking class which I can highly recommend. We were shown around the market where the ingredients are sourced and the recipes were very easy to follow, producing 3 fantastic dishes.
The family were lovely and not only taught us a lot about food, but also Cambodian life, weather, marriage and many other things.

We booked a cooking class here and it was great! It ended up being a private class because no one else signed up. After a quick trip to the market with an explanation of different fruits and vegetables, we picked 3 dishes and a dessert to cook. The explanations and guidance were excellent, and the food tasted so good, clearly because the ingredients were very fresh. It was the best fish amok we had in Cambodia! We definitely recommend this cooking class.
