We originally went to the Buena park claim jumper but they had horrible service and a dark feeling atmosphere. Unfortunately we had to leave before getting our drink order. More details are in their reviews section. But this claim jumpers was 1,000% better! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary on March 7th, 2024. Service was phenomenal! Atmosphere, Amazing! And food was delicious!! Best part was the spectacle outside with the Tip-a-Cop service. We had the best view! We loved the community aspect that the Costa Mesa Claim Jumper was a part of. So this location is nicely decorated and there was no wait time when we arrived at approximately 12:00 pm on a Saturday afternoon. The egg roll appetizer was delicious with a little spice and some salad on the side. The chicken sandwich was also good. Unfortunately the ribeye steak plate had a lot of fat which was not enjoyable. We also ordered the lobster macaroni and cheese with a super strong fish smell that wasn’t pleasing. The bread didn’t come sliced so it was challenging not to touch more than your own piece. Came here for valentines 💝 day! The drinks we got were delicious 😋. The steak was filling even though it was small. The baked potato was warm to cold-ish. The brussell sprouts were good but not as good as the California fish grill ones. Overall I'd say decent for $100.00 including tip on valentines day.
