Not you typical taco. Not fried. You can get the basics bit the excel in thier specialty tacos. Everything is always fresh. Portions are decent. Excellent selection on the menu. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! I was craving a taco so bad and it’s so hard to find a vegan/vegetarian spot. This is it! This is the place for your meaty tacos and meatless tacos! Prices are awesome, staff is amazing. Food is 10/10. I’m so thankful for finding this restaurant it really hit the spot :)! They really know what they’re doing! Nice place in La Mesa. Vegetarian options, nice sides, and drinks. Sangria is tasty. Dj on the back patio some nights. Good and fast service. Salsa bar is a nice touch. The fish tacos were just okay, the elote was also just okay. Tacos were a bit too sour and had too much chopped lettuce. Elote was kinda strong, but that may just be elote in general. There's lots of seating and the prices are good. Something interesting is there's a sowing machine inside the bathroom LOL. The tacos we had were all right, not terrible, but nothing amazing either. Would go back to try other flavors of tacos. Was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a full bar. But the service was great and quick and sitting outside was lovely. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

City Tacos is a great restaurant if you're looking for tacos in the La Mesa area. They have quite a few different varieties of tacos and they're all delicious. The tacos are a little expensive but they definitely don't hold back on meat or other ingredients, so you get what you pay for. The thing I love most are their sauces. They have a few different aioli-type sauces that are absolutely heavenly and pair with the tacos so well. They also have a good few varieties of beer if you're looking to have a drink as well!
