I had an amazing experience at City Perch for brunch! The hostess Esther was lovely & accommodating with the event I held with my bridesmaids. Our server Liza was phenomenal!!! She helped me decorate the table and was very attentive the entire time! The service was amazing and the food was great too! Great location and ambience.. Food tasted great the portion size was decent enough.. Good choice of Cocktails and they were not weak or watered down.. Staff were friendly and helpful.. Knocking off a Star since the Service was extremely slow the night we were in even though there wasn't much of a crowd and they were constantly running out of items on their Menu eventhough it was only 8.30 PM or so. Since it was my 1st time here I am not sure if this is a pattern or just a bad day.. Manager Tim was very polite and did take the time and effort to come speak to us and gave a decent discount for the delay in Service. Our waitress Liza was also very good about making a bad situation better. Would definitely recommend as well as visit again... Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
Don’t bother calling, they never pick up the phone! If it’s a busy night make your reservation through Resy. They close early, by 9pm they giving the checks already. Food was ok, not what I expected. The restaurant is very nice! Limited variety for dinner menu. Great for groups reservations. Upstairs it’s iPic so it’s very convenient if you get dinner and then go see a movie! Parking is very expensive. They say 3 hours free but it’s really not. I spent 5 hours and they charged me $15. So that means 2 hours e/a at $7.50 which is crazy if it was 3 hours for free. Me and about six other of my coworkers came here to eat after a presentation. We were hungry, and just picked the spot based off of the reviews. I am pretty sure we had reservations, though. It was absolutely delicious. Some people ordered mac & cheese, I had the steak, others had pizza, and someone else had salmon. There were zero complaints. It did take, just a little bit to get our food but that probably comes with a larger table. The drinks were also spot on! Our waitress Jailene gave us some great suggestions. I would definitely come back! Note: There is a parking garage that is around the corner. When you come out, you are literally facing the restaurant. They will validate your ticket. Since moving to Fort Lee, City Perch has been one of our go-to restaurants. However, over the last few months, the quality in food and service has consistently gone downhill. The service is nonexistent despite the fact that it is not usually very busy when we dine. When our food finally arrives, it arrives all at once despite ordering as a coursed meal. Additionally, the food is becoming unbearably inedible, overcooked, soggy and just so bad. I want to love this place again, and it has so much potential, but management really needs to put some effort into reviving the quality of food and service. The bartenders are GREAT, the food GREAT, the chef Tim GREAT. Hubby and I love this place, No chicken sandwich on menu, however Tim made it happen deliciously, not sure about the one start but I'm here to say go to this place and the music is not to loud. It's GREAT. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes City Perch
Definitely a very very very good restaurant, staff is always super nice and friendly. The menu is pricey so be aware, but usually if you’re here you’re going to iPic as well so you should already have that in mind. Drinks are very good and the food is amazing. Definitely would recommend to experience dinner or the dinner and a movie combo. Last visit I ordered the Brussels Sprouts and Ribs, will be back for that same meal in the future! My date chose City Perch for date night. I arrived and I was seated. I ordered the Let’s Jam drink and it tasted like bad coconut milk. I had to wait 10 minutes for the server to come back to switch it for the 50 shades of blue which was delicious. I proceeded to look at the menu and order a sirloin steak sandwich. The server looked at me like I had 10 Heads and told me “That’s the wrong menu that you received and hand me another.” The menus are very similar minus the steak sandwich which is the only thing I had wanted. The manger who was extremely nice came over and told us that they USE FROZEN Bread. I ordered a butternut squash bisque and a fig and prosciutto pizza. They both tasted like they came from the box and was reheated. We asked for the check. It took 15 minutes for someone to arrive with the charges of the Let’s jam drink included. The waiter was no where around(even though it wasn’t that packed ) so we had to talk to the manager. Go here if you want slow service and frozen food. Only good thing here is the manger. He was great! Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

City Perch is a perfect haven of modern eating. While they offer traditional lunch/dinner menu, their Brunch menu is well created for weekend consumption. Food presentation is more of an art, and taste is mesmerizing, so much that you relish the dishes way after having them. All the items during this particular visit was top notch, and well done. Service was friendly. The only improvement (which is why this post is missing that one star) is with their wait time. We had to wait over 45 mins for our food to get served. However the Manager was gentle and courteous to come acknowledge the delay more than once and offered us appetizers on the house. Overall a great spot to hang with family/friends for weekend brunches.

☆ OMG! the consistency IS GONE. The ambiance of City Perch, Fort Lee, NJ has moved on to a more less-quality environment. Host and staff are unexistent. They no longer offer Seafood, such as Bronzini, Crab Cakes, etc. The chefs is lazy as well as the management that advise them. They changed the menu To accommodate the Chef, not the patrons. It's a shame that such a reputable establishment has demoted service to lame accommodations as per attached pic's. The burned cool, shoestring fries and Salmon was YUCK. No more real seafood i.e. Bronzini. I gave them a chance to correct their over working their employees and table services(never check to see if everything was okay). Tim, mgr. The manager is unreliable and not a manager that I would recommend in any Reputable industry. Bad Service 👎 Brussels Sprouts were discussing full of sauce that was undiscribable...food lovers, this is NOT your or our place to wine and dine !🫣:(...
