It was an okay place. Easy to access, but the place would do with a bit more of proper lighting, it was dark and dull. The service is also just okay, nothing much to write about.I loved the idea that they have buzzers for when you need a waiter. Our food order took forever and when it came, most of it was cold and the beef was hard. The portions are okay and the prices were fair. Nothing really stood out. Would have been five stars but there was an issue. The service is quick. The interior is nice and comfortable seating. Open 6am until 10pm sometimes will stay open to 11pm if customers are still around. The lemon ice tea and iced ginger tea was nice. The chicken curry was very nice and good portion. The prices are not expensive and cheaper than similar type of restaurants in the area. I think the name of the place would be better named something else as food court suggests a mall type setting and this is a nice restaurant that deserves a nice name. The only issue was the burger the bread was hard and didn't taste nice and the burger meat itself was very dry and taste wasn't great. They could improve the burger. The rest of the food was very good. I would say this is my new favourite place in Kisumu just don't try the burger

Food is excellent (I had their pilau and a latte as well).. The decor is beautiful.. The service is superb,from the door,right to the table.. What a nice way to spend my business trip evening.. with cozy seats and such warm ambience, it was worth it. Keep it up 👌

Finally the perfect homey sit down restaurant in Kisumu! It's so beautifully designed. So ornate. Definitely Somali owners. Very Middle Eastern design concepts. Lots of shapes and gold colours. It's located in the CBD on Oginga Odinga street past the clock roundabout and it's open till late. The seats are so comfy they might as well be in your house. Perfect place for a date or just a chill evening. You can bring the kids or just a friend or if you want to chill alone. The wait service could be better and maybe they could do better with cleanliness of the floor etc. Although I visited late evening so maybe that's part of it. The menu is voluminous and very Somali themed with lots of meat dishes but there's something for everyone. The wait for the food isn't too long. Maybe 15 to 20 minutes. I will definitely be going back plenty of times.

It's okay...the food caters to modern Swahili tastes but is caught between poor presentation and a modern style that doesn't match the food. Ka kwatcha round the corner is better for quality and taste but this one has more comfort and vibe
