We were trying to get something quick to eat because it was getting late. They told us that we had to wait 25 to 30 minutes for them to change out the grease and something that supposed to be done. They told us if you want to order food you have to wait or come back. Not to mention that we already drove 25 minutes there. And we had called before we got there to see were they still open. They don’t even answer the phones if they were answering the phone we would’ve known that they were having issues with the grease and other stuff .I feel like before they should have had that taken care of before the shift started that morning. And when we got the food, the chicken was overcooked too too hard. It was too hard for you to break it, and it was dry, the okra was overcooked. The wait time was long! I waited 38 min in the drive through and when I received my order it wasn't correct. I went inside and the line was long. Surprisingly, the food was extremely good. Other than the fact that the girl at the register shorted me on my change (which I find is happening a lot lately at ALL fast food restaurants so it makes me think they're being told by the higher-ups to do it because it's too coincidental at this point) I would have given this place all 5stars. KFC needs to up they're game and Bojangles needs to be on the lookout. To the owners, that store needs a serious rebuild... The people who work there are nice and deserve better. The place looks un-safe to work... it was clean as it could be under the circumstances, not going back there, greedy people see a total loss from shutting down for a few weeks to rebuild and make better..... The food actually was hot and fresh. The issue with this Church's is the time that we had to sit in the drive thru. I sat in the line (I am ashamed to say that I stayed) for over 30 minutes. We did not move for the first 15+. Maybe it was because of the food being cooked fresh, but it was ridiculously slow. The chicken was fried to a grown brown and tasted good. We waited a while before our order was taken. The man with the dyed tip dreads acknowledged us and was freiendly, however ole girl with the upper lip piercing needs a attitude adjustment and new job. Better attitude makes for a better experience. Overall all kudos to the youngman with the dye tip dreads with good customer service. I don’t go here often unless I’m in the area. My complaint is not about the food. I just think that $2.50 for a cup of ice is wild! I can see paying for the cup but not almost $3.
