First time visiting, We got the family bundle and used a coupon we got in the mail. All the food we got tasted great! 10 PC leg n thigh, mashed potatoes n gravey. Best fried okra I've had in a long time. $27... But they forgot our 5 biscuits! 25-minute round trip total. Ya, I'm not driving back for them. Such a bummer. We eat out one time a week with a coupon we get in the mail. Times are too hard to shorten people on the food they pay for. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. I enjoyed my leg and thigh meal with mashed potatoes and gravy. My kids got chicken fingers and mac and cheese. Both kids liked the chicken fingers, but only one liked the mac and cheese. Everyone else got a chicken sandwich and fries, which they said was good. The lady at the counter was very nice. It took a while to get our food, but they said it was their new cook's first day. Didn't even get waited on at 8:50pm in the drive-thru, with someone clearly present in the kitchen. And they don't close til 10:30pm. Do not recommend this place at all. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Drive through. Food inedible, have eaten here before and food good but this was horrible for some reason. They were totally out of 2 different sides, it was a little after normal dinner time 7:30 but could not make more? We took 2 different sides which were terrible, also chicken way worse than ever.. Paid $40 for meal for family. It was take out so would have taken it back if I had known how bad. I suspect it was left over stuff. Most noteworthy part of my meal was probably the mac and cheese. I find it pretty rare to find a fast food restaurant that actually has good Mac and cheese, and this place definitely achieved that. And of course the biscuits were also delicious. However, what really brings this review down is what should be the star of the meal, which is the chicken. While it was far from the worse I've had, it was equally as far from being great. It was quite dry. You could tell it had probably been sitting out for too long. The service for me is probably the worse part of this place. From having been waiting at the window for roughly 20 minutes to only have a employee come out to ask us what we were even doing sitting there. It was like they completely forgot that we even ordered something. Overall.. If you want some good Mac and cheese, definitely recommend. Absolutely the most disgusting experience ever at a Church's Chicken. Had a hair in my chicken. My 11 year old son found a hair in his chicken and biscuit. They gave us no silverware, napkins, or straws for our drinks. The drinks were overfilled and the soda was all over the outside of the cup. Goo thing we had rags so we could down the cups. The place was not busy as there was no cars ahead of us in line. Thanks to the hotel staff for getting us silverware. We had to use the hotel Kleenex as napkins. No excuse for this sloppiness in service and food prep without following the proper health and safety protocols. Just gross!

Asked for extra legs in my 12 piece instead of thighs. Had to wait over 20 minutes for my order. I don't mind waiting at all for fresh food. After I got home I didn't get my extra legs. They knew they didn't have enough and even that one guy that was helping me ask his coworker if she would put in some more hot spicy chicken she said no so we just turned around and gave me mixed cuz he didn't feel like doing it either and I order spicy the big box of spicy it's anymore you have to check almost every piece so you have to you have to hang around Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

After reading some of the reviews, wooow baby. I went yesterday right at the dinner time. After past experiences at KFC, I figured it would be upwards of 30 minutes plus to get an order filled. I came inside the lady behind the counter, with her stuff in hand to clock out for the day, said someone will be right with you. And then she said, no, I'll go ahead and get your order. Wowzzers, really customer service? Yep, and was very pleasant and helpful the entire process! Even took time and thanked me for coming in and to have a good day. I did need a little bite while I waited for the 4 minutes for fresh, hot yummy chicken. I asked for a order, just one chicken tender, and paid for it, the sweet lady said that the tenders were a little small, so she gave me 2. The tender was nice and juicy. Not greasy at all. I didn't feel like I had just put on a heavy dose of chapstick after eating it like at KFC. I didn't even have greasy fingers. My order was ready in less then the 4mins. I got home with fresh, hot lovely fried chicken. Still no chapstick lips, no grease soaked fingers, just simply great fried chicken! Thank you to the folks at this Churches Texas Chicken in BA, as I had given up on chicken in public due to the horrible experience's at KFC's. Great service, great food, great job!
