We traveled from Detroit, MI to Elkhart, Indiana, as invited guests to the Hall of Heroes Comic-Con March 2 -3, 2024. We stayed at a local hotel and the lady recommended the "Chubby Trout". It sounded fun, so we said, "Why not?!" And it truly didn't disappoint. The walk up was an experience! The outside heaters were going on the patio, and whatever they were using for fuel had such a pleasant aroma as it burned was the first indication that they thought of everything! We'd been around the con-goers all day, and we're winding down. I personally braced myself for extremely loud music but was presently surprised. The music was universally appealing, and our party of 4 was able to communicate without yelling. However, we added a party of three more and became 7... we brought the yelling😂🤣😅 The staff was so nice and accommodating. The food came out extremely fast, and it was delicious. We were ravenous, so I completely forgot to take pictures of the food! It was played beautifully as well. I had a California roll and the perch for dinner. It came with a baked potato and coleslaw, although their side choices were plentiful! We had such a good time when one of them employees came to the Con the next day we absolutely inundated her with praise. We travel alot and don't always have the best experience. I have to say we have not had a dinner experience that tops this one! Thank you! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish

It’s hard to put into words how I feel. It’s almost like I want to come to the restaurant before hours and train on how to make a delicious simple mashed potatoes. Also, the chicken in the Orleans dish was such a miss. The dish in itself is a simple good dish with the noodles and sauce but the chicken is so far off the mark it messes the entire dish up. Also, if you are going to charge so much for steak dishes you need to have those nailed down to a T. The good side of this is that they have a solid wait staff and crew working front of house. I want to like this place but I feel really ripped off. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just did Sushi School for the second time. It was fun and delicious. Chef Gil is the real deal, a sushi artist. One of my favorite local restaurants. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
