Very interesting experience. Food was nasty, had the sweet and sour chicken that had no flavor what so ever. Barelllly can taste any chicken. Veggies were undercooked. Kung pao chicken was ok but expect to run in a language barrier when you are ordering food. Also the waiter doesnt listen to what you say and he will have to guess on what you are saying. Place is also dirty... dirty utensils and plates were dirty. Cups were dirty and I didnt use one of the two forks he gave us, but I did touch it and showed how they wernt paired and the waiter returned it into the clean tray gloating saying "oh not used." Chu’s is a good place for casual dining. Large portions are served with a smile. Prices are reasonable compared to what you would normally pay for eating out these days. We had the house fried rice, chicken chow mien, spicy wings and Mongolian beef. Everything was delicious. Next time we’ll try the garlic wings! I would recommend this establishment for dining and I’ll return for more visits. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes House Special Fried Rice

Friendly service and huge portions. Huge. We overate and had enough for another meal the next day. Fast. Lots of to-go orders, but we dined it. The restaurant itself is definitely showing it's age, but the food more than made up for it. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, shrimp fried rice and chow mein. Food was wonderful. Bought orange and sweet and sour chicken and hot and sour soup. Chicken was super flavorful, and soup was loaded with vegs. and egg. Service was abrupt and restaurant could stand a good scrubbing and paint job. Just sayin' Service Take out Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

This used to be one of the better local Chinese restaurants but things have definitely changed since the new owner/manager took over a while back. The last couple of times, the broccoli was very poor quality and no effort was made to cut away all the rotten parts. However, this last time it was clear that the broccoli (the bulk of my dish) should have been composted a week ago not merely covered with a brown sauce to hide all the brown spots and served to a customer as a takeout order. When I called to very politely and calmly let him know that I was extremely dissatisfied and why, not only was there no apology nor offer of a refund or substitution, but he had the nerve to just hang up on me. That's how little he cares about his customers. I had already noticed that he lacked any social graces and, the last time I was there, personally witnessed (due to his own poor management and communication skills) how irate he made a long-term customer who was also justifiably unhappy with some aspect of his large order and what a spectacle it caused. Needless to say, my dinner went right into the garbage and I will never go back to "Chu's Garden Compost" and, if you're smart, neither will you!
