Originally, I gave this place 5 stars. It really was great every time we've eaten in the restaurant in the past. Unfortunately, we ordered out due to the pandemic on Aug 8, Taiwan father's day, and we were quite disappointed with a couple of our dishes (we ordered five). First, our Gongbao chicken had no peanuts. Second, our bland mapo dofu seemed to be missing Sichuan pepper. Neither dish was spicy. We hope this was just a one time occurrence because ordinarily we really love this place.

After 峨眉, I visited 重順and it didn’t disappoint. Good food and reasonable pricing. 40 years and still going strong.

Restaurant which is nice to go to with a larger group of people as it applies the concept of shared dining. The food we ordered was tasty and the price we paid per person was very reasonable.
