Chitis has been here for a while and I think their consistency has helped them remain the top eatery in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
However, their customer services still needs some work.
Their food on the other hand is pretty good and most times well prepared.
You may fall in love with it on first try 😉.
But if you're searching for that local delight, I'd suggest you visit somewhere else.
Housed in the converted Oba Akenzua Refectory, Chitis has established itself as a choice eatery in UNN. Their assortment of meals is wide enough to accommodate most tastes. Although the prices may be a bit expensive for students, the quantity and quality of their food matches fairly with the price. They also try their best to make their dishes as delicious as possible. The VIP section is also a good idea but the whole purpose could be defeated when it takes too long to get someone to open it.
They however need to improve on customer service. The waiters are courteous but it must be said that a lot of their service processes are run poorly (serving cold food, sometimes taking incredibly long to bring the requested food, etc). They also need to do something about regularly dusting the VIP section. I would understand why they lock the toilets but it could be a little annoying sometimes.
Don’t leave without trying their specialty bread options. I’ll return again whenever I visit Nsukka.
They have the worst customer service
Why do their employers act like we are the cause of their problems?
That's so annoying
The place doesn't have a pleasant smell
The food is a no no for me, I only eat their breaded chicken

Chitis is one of the best eateries in UNN, they serve varieties of food which is one of the reasons I patronize them unlike their counterparts and also have a VIP lounge where one can celebrate birthdays or other occasions. I recommend their bread👌. The downside is that their customer service is nothing to write home☹☹ about like it's a custom not to satisfy their customers and the workers are unfriendly atimes.
Chitis is a nice restaurant and bakery. I like the fact that I can get some local food there.

Chitis is large for sure.
It's a place for a small and big gatherings. I've never seen them run out of tables. It's located at a good siting.
The food is great. They hardly serve stale food. The food is quite small for the price and without free water as other restaurants do. But the taste is great.
The service is nice, especially when customers are fewer. They never have a complete change to give out. These people 😅.
The VIP is very affordable. Not quite VIP-ish but it gives privacy.
The restrooms can't be used unless you buy things from them. That's their policy.
The drinks and cakes are expensive. I guess that's why it's Chitis right?
Chitis bread is still one of the best. The shawarma needs improvement though.
Very spacious and they have good and cheap foods...it's been another one of my favorite spots to eat since I came to Nsukka. I will definitely miss this place. They have good shawarma as well...what else...one or two or more friendly staffs. And that freshly baked bread...that's good. So yeah I would surely recommend this place to YOU!
