Disregard service and atmosphere rating since we ordered through Deliveroo. Omg the food was soo good!! Never have I had such goood shrimp dumplings, a beautiful balance of lightness and spices !! Absolutely chef’s kiss! The gongbao chicken was another exquisite dish, spicy (and somehow sweet), soft meaty and full of rich flavour! The chicken dumplings and Tofu were good too but not the punch others created. Apple pie was sweet and satisfactory. Overall, absolutely having their food again. Fyi: the Gongbao chicken is not for someone with nut allergy as it contains peanuts. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person KWD 2–4 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I come here to eat hotpot specifically. The soups are nice and way close to the authentic taste. The restaurant itself may seem very small because there are not more than 10 tables, but the food and the flavor are perfect. Not too much oil. Not too much spicy. Not only hotpot is very nice, also the dishes are delicious. you may feel that the restaurant layout is quite a little disorder because of its very small size. No parking area, you have to find the parking lot by yourself. 4 parking lots in front of the restaurant. Plus, there are single dishes as well. And several them are very good. It was definitely better than the other Chinese restaurants that i have tried in Kuwait. I really enjoyed the shrimp with vegetables. The fish that i ordered was good but too heavily breaded for my taste. The dumplings were some of the best i have ever had but I would have preferred a different dipping sauce. As you can see from the picture with the chilis- that was the spicy beef dish. The flavor was good but beware of all the chilis which were overwhelming the dish. I am sure there could be a better filler substitute with the chilis. I was told that the wonton soup was very good. Finally- i tasted the General Tao chicken and i feel that the sauce needed to be separate because some people live further than others and it looses the crisp texture that it is supposed to have.

This restaurant is owned by Chinese people and the chef also from China so it give more original taste. If go with group you may try their hotpot. Price is a bit expensive compare to other small Chinese restaurants but below PF Chang. But is worth with the taste Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Waitress very very rude, no smile, if she doesn't want to work why be there at the first place , I am paying money, not getting anything for free, family problems and other things to be kept in the house. I wanted to order other things but kept it to a soup, which fortunately was nice. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

The 'China Great Wall' is a small restaurant in Salmiya Block 2, very close to Holiday Inn. Their signature dish is the Hot pot, where you cook your own food and eat. You get a pot of base soup stock and you order the items you wish to cook (veggies, fish, chicken etc.). The pot is placed on the middle of the table which is equipped with an electric stove. Just dump the ingredients in the boiling soup and 5 to 6 minutes later, the food is ready. We tried their spicy pot with mixed seafood and vegetables. The quality is easily sufficient for 3 to 4 people. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that is offered. Highly recommended.
