So after living in the area for 2 years and having tried every other Chinese food, this place is the absolute best. All the small details are cared for, eggs in the fried rice, the vegetables in the dishes cooked perfectly. The dinner combo is amazing, everything I got here was good. Now there is a different between American favs and traditional recipes, great place for those who want a little more flavor and spice. The decor is updated and clean, the portions were nice and I'll be back for everything. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Party of 5 ordered 5 main and 1 app. We all had a favorite but enjoyed every dish. Pork with Eggplant and Green Bean with Ribs were also enjoyed. Tried the soju and found it a pleasing pairing with the food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Ok, this place is pretty awesome! Awesome dishes, legit Sichuan mapo tofu. So tasty! Traditional Regional classic Chinese food. If you want orange chicken, you won't find it here. Shrimp and leek dumplings are great. Definitely hand made. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
I enjoyed this amazing restaurant and will be back to try more dishes. Ordered sweet and sour guo bao rou (battered pork) and sautéed potato/green pepper/ eggplant on my first visit. Both dishes were delicious 😋 and I never saw them on the menus in other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. Definitely coming back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Dreams DO come true! FINALLY a GOOD Manchurian (Dongbei) style Chinese restaurant in the Denver-metro area!! 太开心了!If you want to eat authentic dongbei food (hearty food) make sure to order 地三鲜 (potato, eggplant and green pepper) as it is outstanding. Also, the 锅包肉 (manchurian style sweet and sour pork) also amazingly good. Eating here feels like being in China! Even the more Americanized dishes that we tried (sesame tofu, vegetable curry, chicken lo mein) were pretty good. Can’t wait to go back! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Appetizer Lapi with sesame source, GuoBaoRou, SuanCaiBaiRou, Stewed chicken with mushrooms, Cumin lamb. I’m not from Northeast China this cannot tell if they are authentic. I can only tell I love all of them. The amount is also more than plenty, a typical impression of northeastern cuisine. Not expensive at all!!!

An authentic Chinese restaurant in Aurora! The Guobaorou is among the BEST I have ever had. The owner is a hospitable and lovely lady. And we were served so so well. Gonna visit Denver this ski season and definitely will come back again! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

China Cafe probably had some of the best tasting and authentic dumplings and noodles in town. The dumpling wraps and noodles were handmade and the texture was chewy. The taste of cabbage and pork stuffing for the dumplings was moist and well balanced, not salty or overly plain. The beef for the braised beef noodle was well cooked, juicy and tender and broth was very flavorful with a hint of spiciness. The beef wraps were quite refreshing and satisfying. Overall, up to expectation and did not disappoint. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
REALLY GOOD! They specialized in Northern Chinese cuisine. We had… 10 dishes? They were all good. Not a bad thing amongst all the variety we ordered!! Definitely do not only order American-Chinese takeout here. This place is a gold mine for Chinese cuisine with a lot of variety. Their guo bao rou is one of the best we’ve ever had! Delightfully crispy with moist pork interior. Great spicy brisket hot pot with just enough spice that is bearable. Chow fun was smoky with tender meat (meaning they use HIGH HEAT to attain that flavor profile.) Beef noodle soup was Northern style and very full bodied beef flavor with robust tomato undertones. Gosh we ate so much I can’t remember everything. The sua la tudousi (spicy & sour shredded potatoes) were perfectly seasoned! A classic Chinese side dish. Dumplings were all soupy! It’s not on the menu but the xiao long bao was also flavored well with good pork flavor. Everything we had was so good! This place is a tucked away hidden gem.
