Grabbed a quick lunch here. I ordered a cilantro lime carne asada medium rare. It came out well done and chewy. It was a busy lunch so it took a minute for our server to come around. The manager was helping her and brought me a brand new plate with the carne asada done correctly. They did have a runner with his pants a bit too low and his drawers showing so that was a little off putting

Not many vegan options, which I hope changes soon. I had fries, broccoli, and black beans. Only item hot was the fries. The broccoli was warm, the black beans were not warm at all! The service was great. Food quality has gone down significantly. Also, the bathroom was less than not clean at all. Silverware looked like it was 20 years old, cheap, and stained with water spots. Of course, we asked for to go plastic ware instead. Again, the service staff were doing their best, and you could tell. They should not have to work in such a declining atmosphere. Can they turn it around? Yes! The property needs an improvement program, an emphasis on cleaning often needs to be mandatory, less food tasting like it's out of a can and warmed up... I was warmly greeted when I arrived and my order was also ready to go. Their process was swift and easy. The food was even ready a few minutes earlier than they told me. The food was great and so was the service and process. After I called in my order, the confirmation link allowed me to pay online. Furthermore, when the order was ready, the confirmation came with a link as well to check in. 👍

Impressive location! (all Chilis are not equal, another chain that I usually stay away from). However, the Mesquite Texas location is the best. The food was hot, restraunt clean, impressed that the team was conscious about cross contamination (the waitress took order, someone else delivered food, someone name Pedro kept helping out)! My server was new but we had been once before and a previous server remembered us. She told the new server to treat them good they're are nice. And she did awesome food and service. I really did enjoy celebrating my birthday here and the food was good. I would've like to have a better selection of veggies. You are clearly meant to drink before you eat. I got the surf and turf fajitas. They were okay. But the drinks good Lord. I got the captains drink.
