It is the greatest spot near The Children's Museum of the Brazos Valley. It's worth visiting this restaurant for nicely cooked fried chicken, chicken rolls and chicken strips. Good biscuits, chocolate cookies and chocolate chip cookies will impress you at the first bite. It's nice to try great ice tea. Chicken Express is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Adequate prices are what you will pay for your meal. Most of the time, the homey atmosphere is to be found here. The overall rating of this place on Google is 4.3.

Other people who said food was too expensive were right. Look at my receipt, for a 7 tender combo. 😳 I picked up at the drive thru so I can’t say anything about the interior of the restaurant, but ordering was difficult because location is near train tracks. But the staff was very friendly. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Every time I visit this location (Bryan,Tx) they always have the best customer service! The food is always fresh and they repeat the orders 3 times which is very good! I went tonight 1/15 around 8pm and the young man that took my ordered helped me out by making my order cheaper telling me he was going to ring in my order a certain way so that way it could save me a $1 or 2. I appreciated that! I never leave reviews but felt like it was needed! This locations customer service is always on point! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Was visiting and decided to go to chicken express on my way back. I got the number one with corn nuggets. Well, the corn nuggets you could tell they were old and the gravy is water down so much to where there is water on the top tried stirring it no flavor. Went in around noon today. Two customers ahead of me had food missing. Took my order. Multiple customers came in after me. They all got their food. Drive thru got their food. I asked where my order was and was told they just put the chicken on to cook. I asked for a gallon of tea and they gave me a cup. They said they would have to refund the entire ticket and recharge me. Or I could just pay for the cup and the gallon. I took both because they made it difficult to correct. The food was really good. For those of you who are new, here are some Tips. 1. GET YOUR RECEIPT!!! 2. Check Every paper Bag, Box, Or Styrofoam Container. Do this on every one before your Drive Off or Walk Out. So I LOVE Chicken Express! Takes me back to my West Texas Days when my Daughter and I would make the trip from San Antonio to San Angelo, TX; always one of our Favorite stops for eating on the road! Even more, takes me back to my childhood as only place I know where you can order Gizzards (Love ‘Em)! Here in Bryan, TX location Rocked it—fresh food; fast service; tasty Tea; and, most importantly, Great Friendly Service! Brought out my food to me (at a fast food joint); repeated my order for accuracy; free refills; and even checked in on me in the middle of my meal! I used to come here whenever I'm in town. In the past, the fried chicken was amazing. My last visit, however, was a disappointment. The food was cold and the chicken lacked the usual crispness.
