Looking for your typical diner food then you’ve come to the right place. I love the drive inn style with the service and food being fast and hot. I ordered their smash burger special and a kids chicken nugget meal, the smash burgers were more like mini sliders and the nuggets were pretty delicious. You won’t be disappointed with the fresh meat and fast service here. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Ordered chili cheese fries and the chili is straight out of the can. Made the fries super soggy and left juices all at the bottom of the container. Also Vanilla milkshake was horrible. Most definitely will not be back. Food: 1 Service: 1

This is an old faithful greasy spoon that always satisfies. Not a health food restaurant. Since 1953. Just good old on the grill in the grease food. With an old school car hop feel. The signs and parking area could use some work, and the area seems a little sketch, but I always see old people walking their tiny dogs in the area, and the food has always been good. Get the Paul Bunyan burger! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Raspberry and Chocolate Milkshake
Truly a very cute old fashion drive-in. We had mixed reviews but overall we will be back to try more items on the menu. My boyfriend loved their onion rings while I loved their curly fries. I really enjoyed my burger (a little salty) but I didn't mind one bit. Chicken sandwich is yummy with a nice sauce. Milk shakes are pretty tasty,...I didn't have one but I regret it. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had nice experience at this little drive-in. The food was good! Paul Bunyan burger hit the spot! Nicely seasoned and cooked! Deep fried beef cheesesteak was a pleasant surprise- great flavor! Nice gem tucked in the neighborhood, a must try! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Was looking for a quick bite to eat while in the neighborhood and their service was quick, clean and delicious. I recommend the mango pineade it's really refreshing in the heat and the Paul Bunyan burger almost bested my boyfriend. It's like if Sonic was stuck in the 60s but better. Authentic old Ypsi drive-in right down to the speakers used to order. My 8 year old demanded we go back the next day for the chicken nuggets again. They _were_ really good; perfectly crispy. I had a cheese burger and onion rings (again, perfectly crisp). We try to visit at least once when we are in town.
Not what it used to be. But, maybe it's just part of moving forward. The Paul Bunyan is no longer that big and on the dry side. Wife said the hoagie was mostly bun and the sweet potato fries didn't look good and tasted less good than they looked. She LOVED the shake. My teenage boys loved what they got, so big up side.

I loved this place. It's a drive in that isn't just burgers and hotdogs. It has so much potential to be so much more but for now I liked the retro decorations (like the toy cars on the menu) and the food was good we had chicken strips, cheese sticks and a shake all very good. I hope with social distancing and people trying to stay safe this place gains more traction. It is definitely a hidden gem of Ypsilanti!
