Best restaurant we have tried in Figueira. The menu de degustação was amazing. Great, innovative dishes paired with very nice portuguese wines. Absolutely worth every penny. Chez Bernardo is a bit of heaven in Figueira da Foz. My wife and I stopped for lunch a couple of days ago and it was fantastic. They have a menu do dia for lunch and ours was lamb cutlets. The food was very good value for the money. We met the staff and they were very kind and we will be coming again. Also, Chez Bernardo is pet friendly. Such an amazing find! Stumbled upon this new bistro only to be wonderfully surprised. I had aged huge steak (can you say steak and eggs tomorrow morning) and my fiance had the cod fillet. OMG great food and better service. Bernard the chef/owner came out and talked with us about the cuisine. Lovely time will be back.
