I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helped guide us through our experience. We had the fried oysters and Brie salad, both of which were perfectly executed. My wife had the halibut special and I had the flounder stuffed with crab meat. Both dishes were amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a restaurant where every diner was talking about how great their food was. I highly recommend eating here. You will not be disappointed. Chefs table is hands down my favorite restaurant! I am originally from New York but moved to NC 8 years ago and love trying new places. This place blows the other places out of the water. Their short rib blue cheese pasta dish is to die for as well as their deconstructed lasagna. My boyfriend and I literally drive hours across state just to make it here. That’s how good it is!! Ashley was able to get us in last minute as well. Please don’t ever change a thing!!! Fine dining at its finest. Don't come in dressed in your work clothes and take your hat off at the table. This is not your local chain restaurant. Everything is made from local markets and fresh ingredients to include the pasta. We started with a house salad with raspberry vinegarette with our sour dough bread and hummus spread. Then we had the duck and filet mignon. Both were cooked to perfection and the sides were mouth watering. We finished with the new York cheesecake with blackberry sauce and a slice of rum cake. Both had our taste buds bouncing with joy. Although we didn't have any alcoholic drinks, I did notice they carried a fine selection of liquor. In my previous days, I would have enjoyed a glass of Johnny walker blue label neat. I highly recommend this place to those who enjoy fine dining and don't mind a bill that reflects the meal and experience. The chef is talented. The blue cheese sauce spare ribs pasta dish is phenomenal along with thr brie salad..unfortunately the rest of dinner was a let down. The mashed potatoes were so salty they were inedible. The server should be retrained, he thought he was 5 Star but was far from. He didn't ask about allergies at our table and was annoyed when we asked what was in the specialty hummus he brought, we watched as other tables were served before us, drinks were never refilled, etc... Our table was in a cramped corner behind the host stand where anyone waiting hovered over our table as we sat there. The space is cramped with all kinds of cheap decor. Needs a revamp. Food and service is exquisite! I’ve eaten here twice now. With all of the amazing food options around Western NC it can be challenging to find a place that shines bright above the other options. These dishes are among some of the best I’ve had and I wouldn’t hesitate to say this might be the best of WNC! The house-made pasta is spectacular. The sauces and proteins/veggies on both dishes were prepared to perfection. I enjoyed the Lamb Meatball Marsala and my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan. 5 star experience and well deserved! Excited to go back and won’t hesitate to send others to indulge in this wonderful and intimate dining experience.

Exquisite Dining experience, up there with the best meal I’ve ever had. The deconstructed lasagna is heavenly. It’s difficult to simply describe with words. Two filets, hand made pasta sheets, spinach, tomatoes covered in Parmesan cream sauce that is to die for. Also, the Black and blue steak dish was also great. Service is top notch. An unforgettable meal. This is the best restaurant in Waynesville, perhaps in North Carolina, and deserves even more recognition than it has already received. Incredible spot.
