Nice little restaurant in the middle of town. Last time I came to Udon Thani there was a party and I couldn't try the restaurant. This time I was glad to try the food. The place is cozy and has a relaxing vibe. The food tasted great and many of the dishes are not as easy to find here. I tried the lamb and it was cooked well with a nice brown sauce. The crab cakes had a great mixture of flavors. I would recommend it if you want a nice place to have dinner or take a date. They do serve some Thai food as well.

This was our 2nd visit. We had been very impressed by the quality of food and service on the 1st visit and decided to go for a light snack mid afternoon. It happened to be ‘ thanksgiving ‘ and there was a special set menu. We were drawn to the 4 course menu and ordered it. (So much for the light snack!)
Again the quality and presentation of the 4 courses was outstanding.
I would highly recommend dining at this restaurant as I’m sure that you will not be disappointed.

This is a relatively small restaurant but with extensive menu and small but adequate wine selection. Lobster soup and Mushroom soup were delicious and Grill Australian Striploin done medium rare as requested. The Roasted Lamb Shank was served with creamy mashed potato and a selection of grilled vegetable for both mains. The West Australian Shiraz proved a good selection. Good little restaurant with a comfortable ambience and well worth a visit when next in Udon Thani.

I was confused by the name Chef’s Table. I understand that to mean a fixed menu of ingredients selected by the chef. Not so in this case. Our food was good and reasonable. The get a coconut ice cream at the stand outside the restaurant.

I had spaghetti alla bolognese, and my friend ordered onion soup for starter followed by penne alla carbonara. When ordering pasta, you can choose between four types (i.e., spaghetti, penne, fettuccine or squid ink), which is very nice. Then, the plate of pasta comes with a tasty piece of garlic bread on the side (only downside for me is that it is soft bread). Everything was nice. Maybe I slightly preferred the carbonara over the bolognese, but it might vary according to personal taste. A good option for fancy lunch or dinner in Udon, as it is indeed a little expensive. We didn’t try the desserts but they had various options that all seemed appetizing (crème brûlée, crêpe Suzette, tiramisu, waffle, etc.). They also serve Thai food.
