The person who took our order was excellent. Their truck pulled up as we pulled in and there were only 2 people working there on a Sunday to unload the truck and work the store. Initially they said we'd have to come back but we'd ordered using their app before we arrived so he took a moment and prepared our order while his coworker began unloading the truck. A+ to his attitude and f- to their management for short staffing the store and losing the business of the people that were turned away after us. I did an online order, went through drive through manager (lady) would not give me my food even after I showed my confirmation number. I had not been to Checkers in many years, so my wife and I thought we would give it a try. We wanted to see how much prices had increased and if the food was still the same. Burgers were fairly expensive, as they are everywhere. We ordered two fish sandwiches, a burger and french fries. The food tasted very good! We had forgotten how much we loved the seasoned french fries. I could just eat the fries, because they are so tasty! The young woman at window wasn't very impressive. As I watched the food prep inside, it seemed like there was one guy doing all the work. We were the only ones there, so that's probably typical. In summary, I could eat the fries every day! I haven't had any checkers since I was a teenager ran up on a checkers in Tuscaloosa Alabama wish there was more checkers hope they will put in a checkers in Bessemer Alabama or somewhere else close by maybe they will put one close to Mercedes or Centerville Alabama or McCalla they have very good food 💕💕💯 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I used doordash to order pickup for myself. They asked me to wait in the parking lot for food and then forgot about me. I went to the walk up window after 40 mins. They told me that they won't serve me food because I ordered through doordash. Worst experience. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I don't usually write reviews, but this was a terrible experience. We had just gotten to town to visit the University. It was Friday night and we were tired. We went to Checkers -- ordered three combo meals -- two burgers plain and one with no onions. There was only one other car there. We drove up to pay and the cashier looked extremely mad -- not sure why. Then we drove around and waited at least 10-15 minutes for our order. We finally received it and it was mostly wrong. Burgers with everything on them. It was frustrating to be visitors to town, deal with someone who was obviously grumpy and then get food nobody wanted to eat. We had to go to another restaurant. I hope the management works to correct this situation so nobody else wastes their money and time. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
