The Chatterbox is more than a local dive bar, it's also a hot spot for standup comedy every Sunday ($5 per ticket) and now some Saturdays, which they call "Chatterday" ($10 per ticket). You get a SOLID comedy show for a fraction of the cost of some of the chain comedy shows, no drink minimums, but stiff and cheap drinks if you so choose (no food). I've seen some mainstream, televised comedians here for $5 and I have always had a great time. When there is no comedy going on, they have a jukebox going, pool table, plenty of seating, two restrooms, and some cool wall art so go check them out.
