Comfortable place. I got the dry rub baby back ribs. Now maybe because I'm from Louisiana and this is MO, but no season on the ribs. Had a decent sauce on the side. When we have ribs, I want juicy ribs, not dry. I have put it on my list of places not to go back to. I can't say about the steaks. I just know the potato was great. I always get a to go plate, but not this time. I didn't want it. Too much liquid smoke. Nope not regular smoked ribs, liquid smoke. If you go try something else, unless you want bland food. So, First Off, this restaurant is absolutely delicious. I had the Charlie Burger with Fries and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, (Yes I love potatoes) and it was so good! The burger wasn't like a flimsy McDonald's burger. This was a GOOD burger. Second Off, the decorations on the inside where cool! There where signed dollar bills everywhere! Also, there is a fake bull outside that you can get on and take a picture - there is a ladder to help you get up. The service was nice, but it was a little slow. Though, a lot of people just came back from Silver Dollar City, including us. So it was a little packed. Also, the tables where a little dirty. But other than that it was an amazing restaurant! We tried Charlie's for the first time, we liked it. I had the "not your average Philly" sandwich. Others had the sirloin. The Philly was great, it had grilled onions and queso cheese. Very good. I had fries with it, also good. Both sirloins were good, one was a slightly tougher than the other but both had great flavor. They had baked potato and the mashed potatoes and salads. Great atmosphere - very friendly staff & food was awesome. Our server, Aubrey was so personable & helpful. We ordered chips & queso (with taco meat) for an appetizer (very good). My sister ordered the sirloin strip (great tasting) & I ordered the red snapper, which they had run out of, so Aubrey suggested their awesome salmon - which indeed turned out to be an awesome choice. The ribs were awesome! The steak had a wonderful taste. I liked the way they serve the salad. I had the Hillbilly Punch and it was very good. We can be very picky about our food and found Charlie's to be an excellent choice. Our server was Dillionand he gave us top notch service. First time in Branson and it was amazing. We were late eating and decided to go here. The place was light but we notice later, that it was 1 hour to closing and it was a Thursday as well but the waitress sitter us and toke our order and never mentioned anything about the time. The food came and in a timely matter , hot and was so good. I had the ribs and steak. Juicy moist and tender. The price was just right and you will get full. The waitress returned multiple times to make sure we were ok and enjoying the food and told us to take it time. No rush. Will definitely recommend and be back again. Friend brought me here for my birthday. Food was awesome, we all had Cowboy Ribeyes, well done, med well and med. All were cooked perfectly. Staff was very good and friendly. If your looking for a place that has good food, generous portion sizes and very reasonable prices you'll want to stop here. We got seated right away and our server was friendly and helpful. It was a welcome break from some of the other places in the area. They also brew their own craft beer. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and the prices were good. We would definitely eat here again. Fantastic staff with an excellent atmosphere that reminds me of small town steakhouses back home. Both the hostess and my waitress were very friendly, and I had a great time here. The food was excellent and came out in a timely manner. I showed up alone just as a show nearby ended, but I didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. My only complaint is that the menu said that the steaks don’t have much seasoning so you need to ask for extra seasoning if that is to your liking; I asked for that extra seasoning and specified that I would like heavy seasoning, but unfortunately it came out unseasoned.
