It's always a good sign when the locals hang at a place. The reality was better than expected, by far! We were visiting the area and noticed Charlie's parking lot was always pretty full. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to stop for lunch. My wife ordered the Funky BLT and I went with Charlie's Burger (I mean, if Charlie's willing to put his name on it, I'm willing to eat it). Server Tonya was efficient in taking our order, delivering once it came up plus checking on our needs without smothering us. Our food was fresh, cooked just right and delicious. This Locally owned restaurant is definitely one of the local favorites. Parking can be tricky during breakfast, lunch and dinner peak hours. The food is always good and the staff is friendly. It’s hard to give an above average restaurant above a three star for atmosphere... The atmosphere is that of an older style diner.
