This has the best selection of South African wines and spirits for several kilometres, especially if you are after high-end and boutique wines. Prices are consistent with a specialist shop - in other words, not the cheapest, but not outrageous either. The selection of sweet and fortified wines is a little disappointing and there are virtually no imported wines other than Champagne, which is a shame and rather unusual in a high-end retail alcohol store.
My only real complaint however is that the staff don't seem to offer any packing or padding for bottles purchased, something I have encountered in one or two other liquor stores locally. It's as if they expect you to take several loose bottles and just bung them in the back of your car to rattle around (and possibly break). Astonishing!
Please train your staff to offer to pack the bottles in some kind of protective layer and in a package/bag that can be carried - it is standard practice elsewhere in the world. Thank you.

Great service! Convenient location. Good product range and some great SA wines. Old Cape feel. Great value when hiring glasses for an event if you purchase some drinks from the store : - )

Not what it used to be regarding availability of international spirits. It used to be THE place to go to for any international brands. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. They keep saying it is not available or too expensive. But I can get it from other stores at a reasonable price.

Best place to get unusual wines and spirits, amazing service, great for hiring glasses, buckets and bulk ice for parties and events, and if you are lucky to be in the know you get invited to their annual wine and champagne tasting. Love this place and the managers and staff.

Great place to buy local wines which are unusual and well selected. Owned by family member. Also been going to the hotel for decades. Keep up good work on wines

Saw a big sign saying deli, then found no deli actually exists. Thought the beer selection was interesting, but the non alcoholic one I wanted was 2 years out of date and when I pointed this out the guy there was completely indifferent and just laughed....
