This place is amazing! The staff was so nice and explained the food choices. My food was perfectly cooked. The plating of the food was gorgeous. Nice family atmosphere. Very clean. I will definitely be coming back because the food was excellent. I can’t wait to try another dish. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food was great. Wait staff was fantastic. Unfortunately it took over an hour to get our food. Even after requesting a to-go because one in our party had to get back to work, her to-go was brought out last and they had to run it out to the parking lot. This made the entire experience a "never again" for me. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I can't wait to share our incredible experience at Chang Thai! Our taste buds were treated to a culinary adventure that left us fat and happy. Tom, affectionately known as "Tom the Bomb," truly lives up to his name. His passion for food, especially Thai cuisine, shines through in every dish. The attention to detail is unparalleled, and it's evident that he takes great pride in creating an unforgettable dining experience. The menu, not overwhelmingly large, boasts a perfect balance of flavors and options, but I highly recommend inquiring about the off-menu items, especially the kimchi—it's a game-changer. We started our meal with the Thai tea and fried tofu appetizer, both of which set the tone for the culinary journey ahead. The drunken noodles were a savory delight, and the coconut soup had just the right amount of richness. And oh, the mango sticky rice—pure bliss! Each dish was cooked to perfection, leaving us craving for more. What truly stood out was the personal touch Tom added to our dining experience. He took the time to chat with us, ensuring that everything was to our liking. His genuine warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. My only regret? Not having enough stomach space to savor everything on the menu. If you find yourself in San Angelo, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this restaurant. It's not just a meal; it's an unforgettable culinary journey. Five stars simply don't do it justice. We can't wait to go back and explore more of Tom's culinary creations! If you are looking for an authentic Thai food that tastes like Thai food in Thai , this is the best place. Their food is amazing! They put their souls in their food. We are vegetarians. We already knew that it was hard to find a food that tastes good for vegetarians, however the cook could make it happen. We ordered different dishes that were not made for vegetarians but they can customize it for vegetarians and made them tasted amazing. We haven’t found this taste for a long time till today. 💯 % recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Thai food or want to try something new. Super friendly and great customer service. Average price of each dish on the menu is around 13 to 15 dollars. I had the beef laab with sticky rice. The mint gave the laab an extra refreshing taste. The sticky rice was so good. The chicken green curry was delicious. 10/10 on presentation and the curry had plenty of chicken, mushrooms, and veggies. Cute little restaurant. I think they serve taro and other flavored drinks. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Y'all have got to give this one a try for yourselves!! We had the amazing crispy pork belly with fried rice, soup, wonderful drinks, and pork filled buns. I cannot tell you how delicious the crispy pork belly was, I keep dreaming about it!! The soup had coconut milk, veggies, meat, and came out with a fire in the middle to keep it hot. You will definitely not want to miss a bowl of this deliciousness!! The drinks had little bits of fruit and bursting bubbles of deliciousness. I cannot tell you it was awesome in so few words, you have just got to try it yourself! Then they brought out the dimsom pork buns, and I was in love again! Please folks, give this place a try, I promise you will not be disappointed!
