Visited with my husband and my in-laws for his birthday. The atmosphere was good and it wasn't too crowded. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The menu had some great options and it was hard to choose. I got the Carmel apple sangria drink special and it was delicious. The one downside of our meal was that my mother in-laws steak tips were over cooked. She didn't want to be a bother so didn't say anything until after the meal. The waitress apologized and discounted the dish since it was too late to fix it. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

Just lucked into running into this place for dinner while staying away, had the tacos and a burrito big enough to feed a small family. Food was amazing, waitress was amazing, atmosphere was very friendly! Definitely coming back again

Looks can be deceiving. The plates were attractive and that is the kindest thing I can say about the entrées. The restaurant was not busy but we waited at the door for almost 10 minutes before being seated. Ok. There were only 2 servers and they both had a couple tables each. This was our first visit so we took a few minutes to look over the menu. We settled on appetizers (fried pickles ($8) and potato skins($10) to share and a bowl of house chili ($7.50) (as a starter for the husband. The fried pickles and sauce were absolutely delicious. A decent portion for the price. 3 potato skins with sour cream on the side were ok - greasy but after adding a little salt and pepper they were ok. The chili arrived and was room temperature. It was tasty but cold chili didn't make a good impression. Our server was friendly. It took a long time for the food to arrive. The plates were very nice looking. The Steak Tip Poutine ($18) was five pieces of steak on top of cold congealed gravy on top of cold weirdly dry handcut fries (that seemed baked not fried). The Fish and Chips ($20) were generously portioned. The fries were cold and tasteless. The fish smelled so bad I tried to eat it but couldn't. The fish was served extremely hot but the breading immediately separated from the fish and again, the smell made it impossible to eat. It was haddock but I couldn't get past the smell. The Uncle Tim's steak ($22) was the only meal we bothered to take home. The comment made was "I'm hungry and not picky" but apparently the mashed potatoes were very good. Yay? I was so excited to finally get to try this restaurant. $92 (plus $20 tip for the server) made for an expensive one time trip.

FANTASTIC !!! Really !! ...'was visiting in the Rumford, ME area and decided to get dinner. Food WITH flavor and presentation with a low-key atmosphere is what we found, nestled away in this superb restaurant. It is without question, thee best foodie-experience in the great state of Maine and worth checking out. I've travelled the world, and finding hidden gems like this proves there are great chefs and restaurants still in the good ol' US of A. I guess all i can say is try it for yourself. From what ive heard most locals wont dine here because of price and quality of food. Leave your own reviews after dining here. Update: i got a call from the rumford police department today cause chamberlains called to report me for harassment. Wow. But dont be afraid to leave your own review because its not illegal to leave a review on google. I asked twice. Ive never had the police called for leaving a review but i guess my review of saying try it for yourself was considered harassment by them. Please try it for yourself. They have responded to my review by leaving harrassing answers toward me. They consider updating your review as leaving multiple reviews. I urge you to look at positive reviews and judge for yourself if they are genuine. Just trying to help our visitors to our town select a positive dining experience.after i left my updated review the newest bad reviews disappeared. Judge for yourself. I did notice that all their employee reviews have disappeared also. Joe browns reviews are all 100 miles away except for his visit to chamberlains.

Servers were nice but the food was disgusting. Bacon, steak and chicken seemed days old. Son didn’t eat kids burger either. Would not go back.

food should be served hot, not cold. ordered steak tip poutine and got 6 little burnt pieces of steak and cold gravy and fries. the appetizers were cold and bland. fried pickles were cold and chewy yet the dipping sauce was tasty. the server was very nice and friendly when she was there. staff was very inattentive to our needs. wife ordered fish and chips. fish smelled rancid and fries were ice cold. when you talk to the owners about the service and food they shift blame and will not compensate even though they watched the cameras. if they watched the cameras they can clearly see that our service and food was horrible. Definitely will not recommend anyone to go there until these issues are corrected.
