We were told that there was a new restaurant with authentic thai food in Lamai. The place looked indeed very new. We were welcomed with a big smile and based on the reviews we ordered the massaman curry and sweet and sour fish. Wow!! It was by far the best we had so far in Koh Samui. We will come back and try some of the other dishes on the menu. Last but not least.....the sticky rice with mango was also delicious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a delightful experience at this small and friendly restaurant. The staff, especially the waiter, were incredibly friendly. The simplicity of their menu made choosing dishes easier, and every Thai dish I tried was excellent. The reasonable prices paired with the wonderful taste make it highly recommended. Stumbled across this place walking back to our hotel from crystal bay. It was magnificent. One of, if not the best, Thai meals I’ve had in Thailand. You will regret not eating here. The two owners were also great. Did a great job cheering up our 2 year old when she was throwing a tantrum. They both spoke good English and had a sense of humour. This new place is an amazing addition to the area. The red Penang prawn curry was fantastic. No ferang style food here, just true Thai authentic dishes that are fresh and delicious. The price is excellent for the quality of the fresh produce and the ambiance. Sticky rice and mango sublime too. Best food we’ve had so far while in Thailand!!!! Chai is such a great chef and host. We had the most wonderful time at his restaurant and we loved spending an afternoon with him and his wife Lear ing how to cook!! 10/10 would recommend!!!
