Like other reviews mentioned, unfriendly service. The cafe itself is decently sized but there are only two tiny tables. You aren't allowed to walk around the cafe to look at the intricate decor. Your drink order must be made at the door as you enter, before you sit. The drinks itself are average.
Very unique cafe run by very friendly owner. To me, the drink and cake were among the best I have had in Taiwan. This is the kind of place that makes a travel memorable.
We found the owner quite cold and unfriendly. First we arrived at the opening time and it was closed, then she opened and still make us wait under the burning midday sun while sweeping the entrance, after switching the open/close sign without even talking to us or inviting us inside. We really felt not welcomed. Then we still decide to go in, sit down but she ask to move even though we are the only customers, and then we started charging our phones to order and she tell us that we need to pay additional fees for this, and for each device ...simply unbelievable and never seen before... after that we felt so frustrated even though the menu look nice (although expensive). When opening business, the menu is not everything, service should be regarded at least as as important
An oasis in town. Situated in a renovated Japanese house, simply sitting in the the tatami area and watching the sun shines the garden is a bliss. The owner is extremely friendly too. Vegan friendly.
A great place to spend a whole afternoon or stop by for some syphon coffee. Coffee is great and multi-layered and the space makes you feel like you’ve been transported to another time.
