Cervejeria Cascata is unassumingly wonderful! We stopped in for lunch yesterday and came back for dinner today. Great prices and large portions of delicious food. The bacalhau was a hit!!

Octopus was perfect, lapas great, actually burgers and grilled squids … everything delirious
There was mold on the cheese plate we ordered. My wife had the fish sandwich which was literally a piece of fish so overcooked that it should be called "cod jerky", with a leaf of lettuce sandwiched between two stale pieces of bread. My own beef sandwich was similarly dry and tough to finish. At least it was sorta cheap and the fries were okay ish. Creepy vibe outside too. One of the locals tried to warn me not to eat here. Wish we'd listened. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

The fish was delicious. So was the home-made chocolate mousse! The salad had a bit too much vinegar. The service was great and the surroundings likewise on a charming little village square. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–25 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Very nice traditional food tavern. Tasty food, good prices and nice service. We also got to enjoy the light ‘show’ of the church facade. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the best restaurants in town. Fresh and authentic food from the Azores. I can highly recommend this place! Service Dine in
Brought us the wrong food, found hairs in the burger, beef sandwich-dry and chewy, brought us food and drinks with 5 minute intervals seemed like they forgot about it, octopus was pretty good but dont take the burgers nor the sandwiches! Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
